Thanks for sharing Captain, takeaway for me was the difference between the GP11 and DJI03; the later image looked arguably better (contrast / colour) ; loved the "Dog Fight"!

Hi Steve....Nice FPV unit. Not so nice for Joe though.....But it happens....I've had a mid air back in my plane days. Really a gut feeling. Now you can put a kills stamp on the side of that bird....LOL

I'm so glad you was going to help him to get his plane ✈️ back up with other plane ✈️. My question is.... Did you get him (Joe) 💯% the same replacement plane ✈️ that Joe's plane ✈️ was destroyed badly??? Cuz I remember that he was saying there's no more exactly the same plane ✈️ model, so I wonder was the replacement plane ✈️ 💯% the same like his badly damaged plane ✈️??? The answer: I have very little room for anything, so items are stored at family member homes or passed on to friends.

Dumb question: I tragically lost my mavic 2 pro to the Harwich channel some time ago and am looking at lower cost DIY alternatives (as I enjoy making). I've still got the upgraded smart controller. Is it possible to DIY a drone that will compare to the pro 2's functionality, utilise it's smart controller and match the great hasselblad cam ? Needed for 4k filming & photography rather than FPV or racing ... I'm out of touch with standalone cam tech (go pros etc). But what I DON'T want is any trace of 'fish eye' or other lens errors. The hasselblad was a great image quality. Thanks, from the UK
In short no. Any dyi drone with a gimbal is going to me much larger and more expensive. Like thousands of dollars. Just get another Mavic imo.

The answer is Nope. That DJI controller only works with DJI drones of the same era. Anything you try to connect with needs the DJI activation and flight restrictions. Your best to bite the bullet and buy the completed drone you desire.
What’s better this quad or the Nazgul5 V3 O3 6S HD both are a round $555?
This one is better for freestyle & race, but the Nazgul looks super sleek.

I have a spektrum transmitter for my rc airplane. Is it compatible with drones?
Yes. You need to use a Spektrum satellite receiver in the drone.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 if I use a spektrum receiver with the safe option, does that means I can run the drone with safe mode?

Can I start FPV with this Sector 5?
You'd honestly need to spend days/months on a simulator first so that you can train your brain and hands how to fly.

The drone doesn't come with a capacitor, also I have seen other videos from the 03 cam thG are shaky
