    As someone who was influenced by Trevor Linden as a kid in hospital, I have infinite respect for him and how much the canucks give back to their community. I can't speak for all, but Linden and the Sedins especially are amoungst the classiest athletes of all time.

    30 years ago , I went to Vancouver from my country Japan. I met canucks , and Trevor Linden is still my hero !

      Yes, I didn't like it when they recoloured them all blue and white, even for the players that didn't wear that design. Same with the division and conference banners.

    How time flies.. can't believe it's been over ten years since these two greats donned the Canucks jersey.. I was such an avid fan during Nazzy's time as Captain❤

    One legend missed is Salo - a Canuck who never shied away from blocking shots no matter the damage. His shot was deadly. Our defense hasnt been the same since he left. Salo! Salo! Salo!

      Sami Salo... he gave heart and soul, his back, shoulders, right eye, nose, head, knees, wrist, ribs, left elbow, his groin, legs, achilles, and left nut for the Canucks. No one can ask for more!

    Would have love to see the Russian Rocket race the McNugget in Edmonton. That would have been a sight to see the two fastest talented players go head to head in a race

      Saw bure many times but he just isnt faster than McDavid... Bure was more exciting to watch tho ... 1 vs 1 Bure was more exciting being a pure sniper and able to deke was a deadly combination
      ... McDavid is flat out speed ... I'd rate McDavid a very close 2nd for his sheer ability to lift people out of their seats...

      You forgot Bure.
      Linden, Bure and the Sedins.
      Bure was an explosive highlight reel on skates.
      Linden was a hard worker, respected leader and tireless worker in the community.
      The Sedins were a combo of both.
      With all due respect to Smyl and Naslund, they were decent players but they weren't true "franchise" players like Linden, Bure and the Sedins were.
