"We've gotta figure out..." and "I haven't been here when..." are just terrible answers for a coach when they're not new situations! Have they had significant leads in past games that they subsequently blew? Absolutely. Is part of coach's job to be prepared so it doesn't happen again? #FireSides
Dunn and Sides need to be fired. Incompetent is too nice a word for those two. This is a complete clown show. Sides and Dunn take ZERO accountability for anything.
Lin Dunn is the issue. If Lin Dunn gets fired today and replaced with someone who actually knows how to be a GM, Sides would be fired day two by the new GM. They also would not sell out of CC jerseys in 15 minutes with no restock plan. This organization is dysfunctional at a very basic level and that starts with the GM or an Owner that just does not give a sh!t.
Facts. Dunn made some comments implying that Clark’s turn overs are the problem. The level of incompetence or malevolence with Dunn and Sides is nuts.
I hope Dunn and Sides aren’t making decisions on how many shirts to make. They need to concentrate on winning games. 😂
I think this is just the tip of the iceberg. There is something smells sinister in this whole league.
Dunn has said she is done after this year--its the third year of a three year contract and she will finally retire for good.

This season, Cailin has posted over 400 points, 100 rebounds, and 150 assists, which has never been done by a rookie in league history.
The coach didn't even know the stat line for her players! She is clueless! Caitlin knew the stat lines for the opposing team! Was prepared in the presser. Sides is a terrible excuse of a coach.

I like Nalyssa, other than she’s a lesbo and dates that Carrington kid. But who in the WNBA doesnt? She’s a nice big body inside. It’s not all about points, although she gets her share. Blocks , pick and rolls, screens. That last game almost loss was more Wheeler and Hull. Wheeler gets in the way of rhythm. Hull couldn’t guard Copper. Copper was a force. And Sides wouldn’t switch her out

She is a bad coach. Have you ever seen a coach throw her own team under the bus in a press conference when they actually won the game. I can't imagine Andy Reid trashing his team after losing. He would have taken full responsibilty in public and talked truth to players in private. Phil Jackson would have done the same with Michael Jordan. That is a big part of the coaches job.

Christie Sides was #1 trending in sports last night on twitter (you know why).. Celeste Taylor had a +10 in 24 mins played. That drop was the one who could have replaced Mitchell but there is no one to replace her in the starting lineup currently. I doubt sides will be removed mid season but her and the gm have to go.

Fans need to start booing when Wheeler is subbed into the court and when Coach Sides is announced and start chanting Fire Sides from the beginning of the game…show up with signs that say Fire Sides…it’s the only way this is going to change.
The fans need to put pressure on the manager to fire sides by signing the petition. Right now it’s only at 1,000 signatures but with the amount of fans CC and the Fever has we should easily get over 100,000 signatures which would put pressure on the management and even the media to make this an issue for them to do something or even the WNBA to step in before they start loosing fans. Can’t afford to loose attendance and ratings during the negotiations for more media rights.
Christie Sides is a narcissist…she never is able to take accountability for anything she is at fault for. It is always the fault of someone or something else.

People need to find a way to communicate with the Fever owner to get him to understand that he is blowing his best investment that he now has in his hands and that if he wants to make sure he doesn’t ruin it by stepping in and firing the entire management team and getting rid of the coaching staff if not he needs to sell this team to someone who will.

The owner who owns the Pacers also owns the Fever and he just won the lottery with getting CC and AB on his Fever team that if with the right management and coaching staff will end up being champions in a matter of years and with the amount of fanbase and momentum happening in the WNBA it will end up becoming one of his most Valuable investments. The Fever has already increased in value, give it a couple more years and it could easily be worth more then the Pacers and be up their with some of the top teams in the NBA with how popular CC is not just in the US but internationally as well. She is already very popular in the Philippines, Europe, Australia and New Zealand that merchandise sales can’t keep up. Anything with her name on it is selling out within minutes and that is only going to continue and change the WNBA for years to come…she is basically the WNBAs MJ and that is going to have revolutionizing effects not just for the Fever but the entire league as a whole for decades to come and the smart owners will capitalize on that and the ones that don’t will end up losing out in the end.

I noticed in a recent pregame when talking about Indiana, Clark said it is a good place "to start my career". My ears pricked up. I will pay attn. for more subtle suggestions/threats from Clark. I can tell you exactly what happened. CC and the other two got them a sweet lead and Sides put the breaks on because she thought this was an easy win at that point. Put in her charity case to get some minutes and maybe some points...all the while, sidelining an absolute beast....completely pathetic. This chick needs to go and she needs to go now. CC can't shoot if she doesn't have the ball in her hands. Now cut to CC after the game...I don't think we'll be seeing this again. She 'subtly' said she'll be shooting more instead of looking for the other players to dish to. I know I will catch heat for this, but I really think that when you have so many women involved at all levels, there are too many emotions made on emotions. I'm not saying it's bad that women are more emotional than men (most of the time), but emotions can really impede judgement.

We were talking about this the other day....when CC is in the post game presser, I get more information about stats and game play than I ever get from coach Sides. CC is just smarter, more articulate, and frankly, knows more about the game. So, imagine how you'd feel in this situation. C'mon, we've all been there, working for a boss who thinks they know it all but can't cut it with those of us who actually do the job. Now imagine that Sides also knows this, but she is that boss. How do you think she feels? Her problem is that her ego gets the best of her. She should just ask CC what she should do.
What do you make of this? A guy posted a game video he was at the game & said he saw CC yelling/arguing with the coach 3 or 4 times in the 4th quarter. If so, i guess she's speaking up....

1. Staley tried to frame Bluder/Clark/Iowa with "We're not monkeys...thugs." A horribly bigoted misrempresentation that she calculated would incite people against Clark/Iowa. It did. Her players, LSU players, social media bought into the stain she made...
2. Staley never accepted the loss to Iowa, never complimented the team, once - instead called for ''investigations'' of fouls/refs.
3. Staley's series of statements: "Clark is not the greatest."... ending with "Clark is "A" great". (carefully crafted as not THE GOAT).
4. Staley thanks "God" for working in ''mysterious ways'' when her team had 10 five star players, taking in 5 five star players in one year (that is equivalent to a pro team taking in 5 first round draft picks in one year, repeatedly). Then, after ''winning''...
5. Staley says "Clark is the SOLE reason for the increase in popularity of women's basketball...SOLE reason." - Thinking she is being smug and mocking the narrative that Clark actually is the reason women's ball has skyrocketed.
6. Staley is incredibly silent when Clark is repeatedly targeted for physical violence and targeted with unbelievable levels of vitriol and derision from media, online in social media, and even from other WNBA players.
7. Staley heads the Olympic Committee, with her own people on it, who break the 1st pick addition to the Olympic team precedent.
8. Now, in the midst of the historic play of Clark, who is doing things we've never seen before from a rookie- and rivaling the all-time best point guards, Staley says she ''loses'' too much - despite raising her teams winning percentage overall (and greatly since surviving the hardest 10 game season open in history) - despite her team rising more than that of other rookies.
9-100. A history of sideways remarks and actions that always glorify Staley, under the pretense of doing so for others.
Claiming primacy of coaching, while she can just coast on a talent/size monopoly.
Bringing up race, repeatedly, against white people - and weaving a narrative (for black HS players) that they can only be ''safe'' with her.
Standing on The Bible, and God, but then blowing with the politcal winds - 'Sure, men can be in women's sports/lockerrooms."
Failing to even train her best players - who achieve more slowly than those form other programs. Ex. Boston finally learning how to execute a proper pick and roll.
Staley is a primary leader of womens baskeball's Bully Club. She and the other bullies would rather undermine Clark, and debase the greatest opportunity in WNBA history, than give up their Big Fish In A Small Pond primacy. Of course Staley, and other other top bullies, are mult-millionaires, as they take in the only big salaries and few endorsements available in wbb. They have no care for the rest of the hundreds of top women players and coaches who (after taxes) don't take home too much - especially for a such a limited duration professsion. Not once have you seen Staley, or the bully club, call for unity of players/races and the embracing of the Clark phenomenon. The more you dig, is is likely that you will find more and more of a tangled web of nefarious actions and speech meant to debase Clark and place a stranglehold over women basketball players, media, teams, and narratives.

The reason they gave up so many points is because Christy put Wheeler in to play point... That is exactly when the Mercury started their run! Christy just can't stop taking the ball out of Caitlin's hands! Are Christy and Wheeler playing scissors together because thats what it seems like.
Here's a helpful suggestion: let Caitlin run the show (please) and follow her lead. You'll get the credit as the coach of the best team in WNBA history and be known for being part of the best. I think it gets mentioned all the time especially by media who don’t feel she is ROTY. She may not get hit a chair frustrated but there’s nothing that this young woman has shown us character or competitive wise that leads me to think she doesn’t think she needs to get better as a pro vs college where she wasn’t face guarded so closely . I think that will get better just because I believe her work ethic and pride will drive her to get better. I think actually shooting much less than in college has hurt the 3 production. But you’re not wrong in mentioning the percentage issue.

Sides is half way thru the season and she has to figure it out? Has to figure out how to maintain a 30 point lead? I'll bet her players know what to do, or at least CC knows. Sides needs to get a grip or get out.
Where is the owner! They have a team that can not just qualify to the playoffs. They have a team that can advance within the playoffs and gain the double of fans! And the owners are sending the franchise to the trash with Dunn and Sides (and staff).
Doesn’t she SEE EVERY TIME Erica Wheeler’s in game they lose points. Kelsey Mitchel is so “iffy”…You never know when she can make a shot or not!
Coach should say. "I expect my four starters to offer Caitlin as many assists per game as she does all of you. If Caitlin has eight assists in a game and any of you other four starters haven't offered her at least two each in return, you won't be starting again until your assists exceed your share of what she has given the four of you."
One idea Christie is keep running plays that are working. This isn't rocket science

I feel the same way in that this is good to see CC show her emotion. Hopefully Kelsy Mitchel walks after this season when she becomes a free agent. I don’t think her ego would accept coming off the bench. Plus Kelsy Mitchel doesn’t do anything well accept scoring when she gets hot. And half the time she’s cold, fumbling passes, jacking up airballs, clanking the ball off the side of the backboard or bottom of the rim while ignoring wide open teammates. I guarantee that every GOOD player on this team has enjoyed a 31 point lead sometime in their career and knows how to keep it.
The problem is that the COACH chooses poor rotations and calls poor plays.
No CC compliment from Sides again‼️Why can she compliment all the other team mates except CC‼️ If the defense stoped working Sides needed to call a time out and yell at them to get back to Defense but then CC would break so much more records‼️ Can’t have that‼️😡
