- In today's video, we are trying to melt a giant jawbreaker with both a solar scorcher and a pressure washer. Will the jawbreaker be too big??

I miss that show 🥺
The largest jawbreaker weighed 12.6 kg (27.8 lb) and was made by Nick Calderaro, an employee of Oak Leaf Confections Co. at their headquarters in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada on 29 May 2003. The jawbreaker measured 94.6 cm (37.25 in) in circumference and took 476 hours to make between 7 January and 29 May 2003.May 29, 2003
It’s nice to still see Grant’s solar scorcher being used in vids

A few other ideas: What about heating a jaw breaker in an oven and trying to flatten it afterwards? What happens to a jawbreaker in a microwave? Build a jawbreaker cannon and fire it at a concrete wall.
CAUTION THOUGH!
If they heat up a jawbreaker like that, there is a risk of different layers heating up and expanding differently.
Mythbusters did this, and leaving it in the sun or an oven can make it blow up,spreading molten sugar that can cause severe burns.
The Mythbusters already did a normal sized jawbreaker in a microwave
No not the cannon
Make sugar black powder substitute and shoot it at a car door. Shoot a jaw breaker using jaw breakers.
And protoputty

Im just wondering if a jaw breaker will shatter more when its completely frozen
Depends on it's composition, ice is harder to shatter when colder, but steel is the opposite
Edit to respond since youtube keeps deleting my response to the guy: i said shatter not break, cold means it will shatter hot means bend and easier to break
@@helloperson9445 So. when steel is super cold, you can break it, right?
Yes since it will shatter and not bend
O
@@helloperson9445 Will it though? Water-containing things do, but does metal, particularly steel? Sure it gets more flexible as it approaches melting but that doesn't mean the opposite, that it will shatter when cold, and particularly doesn't imply any particular temperature. Might be that it would need to be below absolute zero, so impossible.

if you dunked cotton candy on liquid nitrogen, would it melt like normal or freeze?
I think both
Sugar dissolves in water, not just any liquid. I don't think it would dissolve in the nitrogen, I think it would just freeze.
@@soniccookie655 true but it would be cool to see
I said. Both because I think it would first start to dissolve but then freeze at the same time.
Sugar dissolves in a polar solvent, liquid nitrogen is non-polar and would not dissolve cotton candy
