Hi thanks for the video. I am having difficulties to remove the oil filter using the tool you use to remount the new filter. I see you use an ham with a screwdriver making an hole in the filter and turning hard. Unfortunatelly you cut the video and is not poossible too see how hard is to turn the filter. My question is: is it very hard to turn the filter once the screwdriver is in it? have the screwedriver to pass the filter completely?

A better solution is get a filter tool that fits onto the end of the filter. The hammer and screwdriver is a last resort,

Yes it can be and the driver needs to be through both sides to work or it will cut out..
Unfortunately some dealers/ mechanics grossly over tighten these and they can be a bit of a pig . Once turning it should unscrew easily by hand .Using a screwdriver in they way is an old car trade trick , it ain’t pretty but It does work

The correct tool is of course best but as I found it doesn’t always work and. Or everyone has an extensive tool kit

This method created headache on this machine. Especially with old and thin oil filter like ufi 👎

I did a video on valve adjustment a while ago which covers fuel tank removal, once that’s off the air filter is easy
      Caution ⚠️
Disconnecting the fuel line is tricky

What oil did you use? Please do tell.

Well on that occasion I used 10w60 some places say 10w40 , this would be fine in a cooler climate such as the uk . I don’t obsesse abut brands , usually fully synthetic but semi is fine .To me it’s more important to change the oil at regular intervals . I always change oil and filter at lower mileage than the manual. Most modern oils are pretty good really. In fact my main reason for going 10w60 was practical because our V7 uses it , they run quite hot , so it was simpler to use a common oil .
