This video definitely touched on a part of the lore that needs more focus and investigation. I always believed that the bodies of past hosts, cocooned into the hive, would be either directly consumed or absorbed in some way to nourish the hive occupants, the structure itself, or both. Great vid my brother as always.

Yeah it’s hard to tell with these things in the time wether or not they will be remembered but I think if he could see present day how the community still comes together over it that he would be very proud of his creation!
Also going by Giger and not Scott, the alien at the end was slow, not because it was dying, but because it was in the process of making another hive. Look how slimy the controls are after it removes its hand.

What happens when there are no more hosts on the Planet?
Lying dormant, waiting for new hosts, or expanding the colony by leaving the planet? There are times Xenos can learn technology so if they are able to fly a spaceship or simply hitch a ride on patrolling spacecraft... Or cannibalism if they can't leave the hive and run out of food source?
Can they hibernate?
If a Xenomorph can adapt without a host on a planet, perhaps they’ll learn to develop their own spaceships designed to leave the planet and find a new one whether the planet is inhabitable.
If any evidence of the monstrosity AKA the King Xenomorph comes to light, it would be greatly appreciated.

Where does a predalien fit in the hive structure if a queen is already present?

Yeah that's a decent observation
I've always thought that it takes both the queen and the hive together with the queen as the central hub and the hive structure to extend her influence. Those within the hive need little effort to control while those venturing outside the hive require more direct control.
