Miscellaneous Meander #53

How do butterflies get from A to B? They weigh next to nothing, their wings have a large surface area and they are at the mercy of the winds. It's a puzzle isn't it? And how do birds' nests stay in a tree during storms? There's no glue involved ... so how? They're just bundles of sticks. This week of rambles ponders several such questions while also pointing out a few wild edibles and further signs of spring. And there's a mention of one of my favourite artists - Andy Goldsworthy.
