Everything looks beautiful! The only suggestion I have is to move the new artwork to your bedroom over the headboard and get a larger piece for the living room wall. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

That's true I have a huge artwork in the living room and looks great. Over the headboard I have smaller ones haha

I think you also need something with a lot more color to break up all the white

One thing I would change is not pushing the rug right up to the wall. Only go about halfway under the couch as it will allow the room to feel much larger. You’re losing a ton of useable rug.
Loving how your apartment is coming together. Tip from an interior designer is to pull your living room rug out from the couch a little bit and have it somewhat touching the entertainment piece with the TV so that it’s more cohesive instead of just the couch being the only thing with your coffee table on the rug. It will really elevate the environment. I also suggest upgrading the art piece in the living room to a larger size. Or you can go for three art pieces and space them out to make the wall less spacious. ❤

Love the new items! The artwork is pretty- but a larger piece could have taken up more space. You guys definitely could use a fake tree in a corner of your living room. Maybe by the window? We got a fiddle leaf on Amazon, and I got an olive tree for my daughter’s nursery on Amazon as well. I think it would warm up the living room. :-)
Rearranging is the word you were searching for. The living room looks so much better!!
Love what you are doing, just keep in mind that as you explore different neighborhoods you will find unique pieces and not have to rely on West Elm, TJ's, etc. Take your time to collect and don't rush it, tons of stuff in Jersey City, Brooklyn, Hudson River Valley, etc. (I lived in Manhattan it is so fun!)
Here's a tip. Take a roll of wrapping paper and cut it to any size (height/width) and use it to practice with before buying or hanging your art. It will save time on returns and holes in the walls. I think what you have done so far is very cute!
Love the new arrangement...it really highlights your view! The stick on tiles were a great idea and look terrific, as do the New Yorker prints. I agree that blue pillows would look nice (and I bet Will would especially love 'em) 😉

I would suggest getting a bigger artwork (or a second one in the same style) to put on the wall on top of the couch.

The furniture switch-eroo turned out great! Placing the couch across from the television AND corner window is perfect! Moving your liquor cabinet out to its new location is much better, too!

Beautiful. Hope you are enjoying NY. I also love pottery barn and west elm. What I do is grab my inserts from IKEA and the covers from west elm or pottery barn or crate and barrel (new one coming by union square near 18th street). Have fun shopping.

Love it! Rearranging made a huge difference. I think a fun renter-friendly wall paper would really pop behind one of your focal walls like behind the bed, tv or couch! Wayfair has a lot of cute designs

Suggestion: take the two prints (with the gold frames from the bedroom wall) , and put them on either side, a little bit lower than the painting, behind the couch…. that will help to balance things out better in the living room.
I definitely like the swap of the TV with the couch, gives the room a larger feeling .

Just an FYI, less is more in the city. Essentials only. And use every nook and cranny for storage, under the bed, sometimes even an ottoman or couch that opens is great for storing other items! I’m sure it’ll turn out wondefully
