Could you link your gold shelving and tv console with electric chimney please?
You could use LED lights to light up your kitchen and living room better possibly. I think that LED lights light up rooms really well. This is just a suggestion.

Tip: the brown one in the kitchen is painted wood, how about you paint it lighter (if you move out, just paint it dark brown again)? But if you don't feel like it, I would put a bright picture on the side where you're eating...that brightens up that part.P:S Maybe @lonefox can also give you a lot of tips on what you can do when you rent
Hey Lauren! I’m an interior designer, but just a couple of ideas for you:
1. Could you remove the middle section of the sectional to make it smaller? Maybe use the middle piece as a “chair” separately? Then the couch would fit better in the space?
2. Totally up to you on this, but putting the rug right under the kitchen stools is a recipe for getting food on it and I just don’t want you ruining your new white rug :,)
3. I thought the mirror in the corner by the window looked cute! Added some good dimension to the space too

For your junk cabinet: buy a large basket to dump all the overflow stuff in. Just make sure you measure to make it fit right. When you open the cabinet you’ll see a completely neat and tidy space but still be able to have that “junk” space.

Crazy idea, if you want it: what if you took out the middle piece of the couch, squished the two pieces back together, recentered the couch, lamps, the alcohol/glasses cabinet, etc. how you originally intended, and put the middle piece in that corner (at an angle) where the cabinet and mirror are now? That might give you some more space all the way around, and more space around your desk, too! (Totally just an idea, it looks amazing how it is now, but I was just thinking about that 😂)

Lauren I love the couch super comfy , but get rid of the storage racks in between the tv console they take up too much space and the accessories on it is just a lot you don’t need it !! keep the full size mirror it’s cute maybe hang it by the entrance ? , as for the alcohol cabinet it’s cute but maybe get one that’s skinnier facing the entrance leaning on that wall and have your full size length mirror leaning on that original wall that the storage rack is on
Lauren, you are doing great with the decorations. Everything is coming together so good! I recommend doing a lil wallpaper moment on that TV wall and adding more greenery!! Plants always make a space more lively. Maybe get a different rug that can bring your accent colors (pink and gold) to life. Also, maybe mount the TV so it can match the height of the shelves and make that wall more cohesive. Anyways, just adding my two cents. Not a decorator, but I love decorating 😅🤍🤍🤍

You are going to be a wonderful little wife and Will for sure will be a great husband. I had to smile when I saw you had a meal plan written on your new calendar. It is obvious that you are very organized and that everything you do is well planned out. You have been living away from home since you left for college and that has made you very independent. Although you are such a girly girl and have loads of “things” you will manage nicely because you will keep everything organized. As a side note, Willard’s bed head is hilarious.
Big sofa in a small space is PERFECT 🎉 it makes the space look bigger and more open. unsolicited advice - but i think ditching the gold shelf towers and moving that small cabinet/ mirror to where you have that shoe bench is in the walkway could open up the space a bit. I think that cabinet might even be deep enough to actually store shoes in too? the coach looks so comfy

It looks so pretty. You’re doing great putting it all together. I wuld put a big painting and a couple of sconces with puck lights in them over the couch that way they would look build in and would give you more ambient lighting.
Maybe toss in a pop of color with a soft fluffy throw blanket on the white couch. It's coming together!

If you need a large, suburban Target, there’s one in the Bronx terminal market near Yankee stadium or 116th in East Harlem. Would recommend both!!

It’s actually two rings… like an engagement ring and a wedding band. 💕 But when I was single and traveling, I wore one just kind of as a “Danger, stay away” sign.

I don't know if that long mirror can hang, but it will look really good on the bathroom wall opposite the toilet. It will also join the bathroom with everything else. Don't get mad, but I really think your desk needs to go in your bedroom. Maybe where Elles tree is. Don't know if there's enough room for both, but maybe move out to the other side? A nice elephant plant would look IDEAL in that corner in the living room with a tall petal lamp behind it. You can also play with lighting to accent moods or holidays. And the green will break up the continuity. A long dramatic painting would look stellar over the couch most definitely. You and Will work so well together, it's awesome. Can't wait to see everything finished. Love you🕯
