I bought a brand new iPod touch and then it stopped working and they gave me a refurbished one n it didn't work n they have me another one and it didn't work either then my insurance ended! ):

Refurbished means it had technical problems but it has been fixed by an apple approved company

The screen heats up if you don't take the protectors off.
theres no sratchs because when u buy stuf refurbished apple puts a new back and new screen and replace the old batterty'

You can buy a new I device and take it back 30 mins later and it can be sold as NEW so it's sold as REFURBISHED so your iPod could have been NEW
