Yeah, I was misguided by the sales man that sold it to me.
1 spark plug=1 cylinder
301 for me. The 301 makes more torque out of the box than a fully built, $1,500 212/223cc stroker.
If you are into hot rodding this lawn mower engines, rhe 301 with billet connecting rod, 250 cam, billet flywheel, 32mm carb, header and polished exhaust port makes 21-22ft lbs of torque and around 14hp.
Just wanted to tell you the 301 is a single cylinder 670 is a 2 cylinder engine
But overall not a bad video great work
I thought it was a single cylinder too but they insisted it was twowhen I bought it at harbor freight. The OHV cover being so big made me think they were telling the truth. I guess I could pull it off and see.
@@justind947 like Bret said, the 670 is the only 2!cylinxer engine in the predator line up. No need to take anything apart.
all carbureted small engines have the choke lever to help start it up on 1 pull and good for cold starts too, thats normal if you see smoke if the lever is set on choke and flip it to run

I think it was only smoking because when u start it your supposed to switch the choke

301 definitely does not have two cylinders

Man I wish you'd lower the camera instead of hovering over them. I could put a tallboy next to a pop can and they de look the same until I lowered my camera

Huge is a one inch shaft on 301
The reason its smoking is because you have to much oil.
It was the first start for either of them since the factory. Usually they do seem to smoke before you break them in it seems from my experience. But I will take a look into it and try that. Thanks for the tip.

Not sure yet I don't have a lot of time. But as soon as I get a chance to get some minibikes Rebuilt I will get it done.
The 301 is a hemi the 212 is not a hemi
