I really thought we were growing until he upgraded spanner
meeeeee423. Yep NL always has a hard on for useless equipment. He couldn’t even use spanner 3 times if he wanted to. Whereas if he upgraded hammer he also could have equipped another piece of damage equipment

Are you serious? He still haven't realized that he don't have to play flamethrower on turn one (crystal sword too), let's do with it half possible damage on turn one instead
Inventor flowchart: get flamethrower->upgrade it->get as many equipments that give a fury gadget (boomerang, christal sword ecc...)->get limit break->win
The issue with this flowchart is it:
A) Requires NL to actually take Boomerang
B)Actually plan out what he yeets for a specific gadget instead of merely what is least desirable
@@jakesteel4916 That's true I hope he just doesn't give up just for inventor 4 that is relatively "easy". Witch 4 on the other hand... Fuck that even with the balance patch
@@MrMarcorullo the extra die and the weaken equipment with the enemy rebalance REALLY help it

As this series has shown, numbers are his strongest suit.
It's a rounding error.
I mean, the game isn't very good. I imagine most people got bored after a few hours. It's not an indication of skill but rather time that is spent in the game, which while generally associated with skill it's not the same thing.

@@akuro6470 It's okay, but it's a kid's game at least in terms of complexity. I imagine most people wouldn't be able to finish it just due to how easy it is. The game doesn't have really much else going for it in terms of visual, audio, or story quality.

drigger225 What are you talking about? With Crystal Sword, his max damage output on turn 1 was 21, with 6 damage every turn after. The minimum number of turns to deplete Sorceress’s HP is four. If he had added Sword to his hand, he could’ve easily killed her in three turns (two would require perfect rolls
Well it was either take in crystal sword, sword and hammer and have to lose one of them or take in scrap metal two save two other items. If you meant swap crystal sword for hammer while keeping scrap and spanner then I’ll say that’s fair enough
NL. you have to play as thief and get the bear potion in at least one episode.
This is a need, that's the true secret character
Can you do it with Inventor reversal, too?
Not 100% sure, but I don't think so. Reversal is a gadget that comes from PU items (Berlin Key and Encyclopedia), and I remember reading that Inventor can't encounter Alchemist in episodes 5-6.
Says he took all the damage but took spanner and scrap shield over sword into battle. I think one thing to keep in mind with the inventor is your gadget! When you have a damage gadget you don’t need quite as much damage from your equipment.
What has killed you on most of your runs as the Inventor is overvaluing the hell out of Spanner(sword).

Angel Aud But he didn’t want to have to lose one of his 3 main damage dealers, so he had to swap out one of them for scrap and spanner
NL, Inventor can turn his dice into 6s
You don't need to bring spanner to make 6s

He didn't took it this run for 1 gold, so never... Let's take dagger instead, it's have a nice synergy with limit break and upgraded spanner
NL stop upgrading equipment with the inventor and focus on buying raw damage items. I’ve found that not having enough damage is typically the issue with the inventor
I am going to be so heartbroken when this series ends.
Playing as the Inventor in Dicey is like starting an Isaac run with Missing No.
I’d love to see an episode where NL tries to change his views on equipment. Like if he prioritizes equipment he usually doesn’t just to really give it a chance (I don’t remember a single episode where he’s tried boomerang for example).
NL > Raw Damage is very underrated in this game
I feel like spanner sucks and should be made into a gadget

Honestly NL, I would try to beat the Inventor episode 4 by getting a gadget that lets you swap/steal equipment, then fight the Alchemist and swap with/steal from her, transform into a Bear, and just win as a Bear.
I've watched every episode and finally got the game a couple days ago. I think the inventor is super fun to play, I don't know why you hate it so much but each to their own I guess. Keep the dicey coming egg lord
He doesn't enjoy Inventor because he doesn't understand how to play as him. That is, how to manage equipment and gadgets. Not trying to dunk on him but it's made painfully obvious in this episode he doesn't understand how Inventor works.

FIght is pretty samey imo. Optimal strat is just spam poison whenever possible and it doesnt kill a character or break her rules.

NL, please consider the fact that upgrading things as the inventor (who you’ve often struggled to do damage with) is something you should reserve for equipment that does damage. Instead buying anything and everything that does significant damage (like boomerang which does 2x damage of one dice) is probably worth more.

Hey NL you shouldn't be fighting every enemy as the inventor. You lose a piece of equipment for each fight and you don't need to be level 6 to beat the boss. Just skip some of the enemies and you'll have a much easier time.
In other news, after the patch released episode 4 is doable.

He overvalues Shock and Spanner so much that I wouldn't be surprised to see him to a Spanner, Spannersword, and a Capacitor alone into battle and then wonder why he isn't killing anything. Seriously, watch my Inventor videos! I just might be able to teach you something!

@@ALittleMessi idk I think the egg is evolving one dicey dungeons episode at a time, haha, although I think it was also a confidence booster that made him feel like he could actually luck his way out of episode 4 like he did the finale instead of wanting to literally do anything besides play dice dungeons due to how terrible episode 4 is.
