It's a good thing you're also a comedy genius, so you have something to fall back on when you eventually give up on becoming just a half decent blacksmith.
On a serious note; it must be SO satisfying to use an absolutely beautiful tool that you've made yourself.

I am thinking about starting blacksmithing myself. Even though it is fairly simple from a scientific point of view, I find it fascinating to see some old rusty block of Steel or Iron, or even some piece of scrap metal, being not just restored or taken apart for recycling, but really transformed into something completely new that is useful again. And what I like about your work, different to most other smiting channels, is that you create actual tools instead of just creating weapons. Of course an Axe or a Knife can kill, and so can a pencil, but it’s not the primary thing you can do with them. I want to create something that can actually be put to use, like an Axe to chop firewood with, a Knife to cut stuff with, a Pan, or something like that. Not something that gets created with the sole purpose to kill someone like a sword or a dagger. I find it a perversion of this fertile art to use it to create means of death and destruction.
