Some of the first stuff I learnt was jimi hendrix tunes. I mean just learning chords is very boring for a beginner but you need to get the fundamentals I guess. Interested to know if you can play this after a year?

Xd i just started nailing the bass in this song and that shit is still hard every single time.

Does the bridge also has a different variant? Like on Thom's part he kinda moves around from 5th to 7th fret?
what effects/settings do you have for your amp and what kind of amp?
hi, this is a great tutorial, i'm just having trouble getting the verse 2. strumming i get, but what are the chords? when I strum the notes from the intro it sounds like chaos but yours sounds clean.
You have to mute the strings - the ones that aren't part of the chord. For the first/third chord shape, bring your middle finger down enough that it's resting on the A string and it won't ring out. For the second chord, you don't have to worry about the A string because it's a note in the chord so it'll sound fine, however you can lightly rest the tip of your middle finger on it if you really don't want it sounding out for whatever reason. For the high strings, gently lie your index across the strings you want muted. Don't be frustrated if you're accidently fretting notes at first or lifting your finger without realizing, it takes a lot of practice.

Im pretty late to the video but what amp settings do you use because i can't get the proper one's while i learn
In verse 2, I'm not sure how to mute the unwanted strings. When I strum, the bad strings are ringing out and I can't emphasize the chords really well. Any tips?
