  • I enjoy find things to fix, today we have a Beyerdynamic microphone. This cuts out the sound unless there is a torsion applied to the body.
In this video I take it apart to see if I can find the problem?
I also enjoy adding new equipment to my studio as it opens up new options, I think this microphone willbe good for acoustic instruments and capturing acoustic noise on electric pianos, lets use it for the next decent sampler instrument I make.

Thank you, I myself messed up a measuring mic, being the "High-precision IEC711 Artificial Ear Tester". It measures mostly flat now, might be because my home doesn't have grounding? Thanks again!

That sounds like an interesting mic, does that have a really neutral response?
Would it be possible to add grounding with an earth rod?

@@deancoyle Don't think so, coming from the advice of my colleagues that specialize in grounding, you'll need at least 3 of those in line in the span of ~4 meters length wise and about 2 meters deep.

@@deancoyle It has a neutral response if you ask for the calibration file from the seller, but it isn't much of a difference without it.
