May I join you ladies. I would love to teach English now that my ex has passed away. Is 74 to old to move around and teach English. outside the states?
What paperwork do I need??
Where do I get it?
Thank you very much!!
Hi @stephanieperry, I clicked on the toolkit link and I don't see the toolkit. It just takes me to your website.
You bring comfort to the idea of doing this. I'm sitting here actually contemplating this. I'm thinking of living elsewhere 6 months out of the year for as long as possible.
Wonderful! I hope you do it. It's a great experience. 💗
I may need your guidance to get the ball rolling. Yesterday I told everyone I encountered about you and your network of adventurers. I sent the video to my contacts. Keep up all that you do, I'm inspired. I thank you for waking me up.

Many thanks
Dont just think 🤔 & dream about it!!! Sell everything & go if you Dont have any legal stuff holding you back. And 🤫…..you can’t tell everybody! It’s a lot of folks will throw a 😢😮monkey wrench in your whole escape plan.
Please my black African/American, travel to Ghana West Africa my people are very welcoming and they look just like you or you can go to South African very grate places to go.
Went to Portugal when I was in the military and it was cool. I didn't feel like a fish in a fish bowl, if you know what I mean.
Yes I know EXACTLY what you mean. Portugal is wonderful and pretty welcoming. 💗 Have you thought about going back for a visit?
This beautiful queen is so dope!! This is the second video of yours I’m watching and you really are great with communicating
Thank you! And thanks for watching. 💗
Hello Beautiful. Thank you so much for all your videos!! I am definitely trying to get the the hell out of the United Snakes of America. I applied for my passport today ☺️
How's your journey going?
Now THIS is what CZcams was made for 😂😂😂😂😂😊❤️ Im laughing with Joy in my heart and envisioning a soft life. Let’s go!!!!!!!💪🏾🤭
Hi Stephanie! I enjoy watching all your videos although you know I made my leap to Tulum about 6 weeks ago, which was short lived (I needed a place with more infrastructure). So, I connected with another sister from the group who lives in Merida. I quickly moved there, found a lovely apartment, and loving the start of my retirement or what I like to say my "Re-wirement😉! Several people have prompted me to share my journey via a CZcams Channel, which I probably will soon( I have several platforms already in play, so I'm deciding how to consolidate my message/niche. Thank you for the ongoing work you do... It reignited my passion to get back to traveling and living abroad, a lifestyle I had many years ago!
Wonderful Toni!! I hope you love Merida. 💗 And yes, PLEASE share with us on CZcams..We're talking about what it's like in different towns in Mexico live in the FB group on Tuesday at 3pm ET. Are you free then? We'd love for you to join us.
Hi ladies, thank you Stephanie for stepping out the box and being courageous! So many don’t see us as important women, let alone black women. Yes, when we move about locally, nationally or internationally people don’t know how to act towards black women. I travel locally(Us) and are treated differently in many US states, I can only imagine different countries. Your interviews are absolutely amazing. Thank you for bringing the truth from personal perspectives. No one can deny personal experiences. The practice of prejudice is real. The act of ignorance is profound. Thank you
You are speaking my language. I've got to look into this. I've been saying for the last few years that I wanted to move abroad, but did not know exactly where I wanted to go. I'm so happy someone has done the homework. You have a new subbie. I will also be checking out the links.
So glad that I came across your channel!👍
So wonderful! I never considered this seriously until now.
Love the topics in your videos and your fluency communicating the info. Missed you! Come more often! :-)
Will do! Thanks for watching Ivy. 💗 If you want something specific covered, just holler.
Thank so much! I didn’t know this was possible until now. Wow 😳
You're so welcome LaTondra! It's possible. 💗
Wow.ugh. thank you! Thank you so much!!!! So glad to have found you!
You always bring valuable content!!!
Thank you for these resources.
Ooooh so glad I found this! Subscribed!
Thank you Stephanie
Thanks Stephanie for your valuable information. Your supper encouraging attitude. Your very charming demeanor.
Okay I'm a retired male and currently living in Valencia, Spain. Actually, I moved out of the US nearly 10 years ago. First moving to SE Asia. Since this channel is primarily focused on Black females, I was wondering if any one knows of a similar channel dedicated to Black male expats? I've searched online and all I was able to find were a few sites dedicated to Black males traveling abroad. I'm way past that stage. I've seen other channels and groups that are Black female oriented. You sisters are way ahead of the game. I'm thinking that perhaps I can start something for the brothers on my own. Or join the sisters. What do you think?
Go for it with the brothers
Hey can you share some information on moving and your life in Spain. It's my dream to move there. If you have IG and/or FB can you please share.
Black and Abroad!
@Lionel Riley, I would to know about a group for black men, would love to share w/our adult Son!

I’m like 10 min and for some reason I’m so drawn to you! Thank you for this video. I’m a mother of 1, leave up 11/30 and I dont see myself continuing this lifestyle I’m in. I’m ready to go!
I love this!! I really want to move within the next year or so
This information is great 👍
Just happened to stumble upon this

Love this, thank you ✨💎🤍
Thanks for watching. 💗
Thank you so much for this!!!
You’re so welcome Jerome. 💗
Your channel is extremely helpful. All I want to do is to move abroad and your videos help me believe that it may not be as hard as everyone, myself included makes it out to be. Luckily I'm a CZcamsr myself so hopefully, as I grow. My CZcams can support my travels. Thanks again for content like this! It's great.
So happy to see a video from you. Great video Stephanie!
Thank you! So glad you're here. 💗
Hope all is well thanks
Just found and subscribed immediately.
Great channel!

Thank YOU Leslie! 💗
I had no idea it was that easy. Thank you for sharing that 😊❤️
Thank you for watching! 💗
Hello beautiful and I have been following your videos and they're so encouraging. Also I had saw your last statement about you're going to the AT and if you haven't heard of the Sonder. It a Air bnb/hotel,
it more like a resident to yourself and it a really nice place to stay at. Sonder is
limited in certain states and a few other country's. But they are working on expanding across the states and country's. I just want to say thank you for your help and encouragement with the ladies.
Thank you for your valuable information. You really helped me to be more positive about moving to my dream country.
You're welcome. 💗
This sounds too easy. I like it. There are a lot of places I would like to travel to. Number one, South Seoul Korea. Thanks for this video.😊
I was in Mexico 2 weeks ago and had the pleasure of meeting some of the ladies in lakeside. I was hoping I had a chance to meet you. I will be back soon. Thanks for the great video!
Aww Kim! I just got here on Nov 30th. I'll probably leave 1/1, but maybe not?? I'm so glad you met the ladies here. They're wonderful. 💗
@@StephaniePerry Yes! Exactly I was down there on that day the very day you got in town! Lol. But wanted you to have time to get settled. So close yet so far. Lol. Btw. I fell in love with lakeside! Such a cool area. And yes they are wonderful! Looking forward to going back really soon. Getting my ducks in a row as we speak so your videos have been most helpful. Thank you!❤ And btw, also Portugal is wonderful too! That was last over the water trip b4 covid! Such an awesome place!
Was wondering where the SP was---glad to see you back on the Tube!
I'm heeeere! 👋🏿 💗
Thank you. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
You're so welcome Rochelle! 💗
Feels like you're looking right at me trynna tell me to just go! 😁 Weird compliment but you have great facial symmetry. (I'm an African woman)
Hello, that was very resourceful. Thank you, thank you. I will be looking into this.
Wonderful, Dana! Where are you thinking about moving to?
@@StephaniePerry philippines
@@StephaniePerry I will be watching your videos to see where you have been. Did you like the philippines? How is it for a bw? Just curious. Of course I'll be visiting other places prior to settling.
Thank you Stephanie for these helpful resources. I'm currently unemployed and thinking about leaving the U.S. for a bit. It's just not safe anymore for Blk folks.
My cousin is an expat to the Cayman islands. She works as a dermatology nurse. Her fiance is an expat there from Italy. they love it
Thank you
I'm coming from Yoga Bliss Dance channel
New subbie 🙂
Just yesterday I was thinking about you and how much I miss your videos. I'm slated to start my pseudo-Sabbatical/career transition next month. Thank you for being such a wonderful source of information and encouragement in my moving past the hoping and planning phase into execution.
MiMi I'm so excited for you!! I hope it's restful and reinvigorating. 💗 Are you going anywhere?
@@StephaniePerry Thank you so much! I'm hoping to visit Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan late spring/early summer (pandemic permitting), and possibly moving to New Zealand by year's end.
Costa Rica!
I feel like Mexico is most compatible as I love the people and food. But I took a cruise there and did not enjoy. I will have to try again. Thanks so much for the information.
I hop you give it another chance Peggy. I LOVE it here. 💗
Peggy it depends where you go- imagine you landed in a small town in Kansas when you really would have like Los Angelos....do reserach adn travel around.
Evening I’ve loved watching your videos, and thank you for sparking my desire to LEAVE THE US!!! I am struggling with the process though… I’m a single mother of 3 under the age of 10, and finding reliable employment has been tough. I’m also struggling with a true understanding of VPN and the technical side of computer life where the geolocation etc is concerned. Is there any resources you can share that would give me insight. I’ve been in CZcams & Google University for months lol TIA
Hey Stef
New subbie❤❤❤
Welcome! 💗
Still very skeptical, but its worth trying, given all that we experience day to day.
They totally removed me from your channel. Haven't seen you in 2 weeks. Glad i sent you to my friend.
I really want to move to Amsterdam any advice would be greatly appreciated
I have always wanted to travel abroad. I do not know where or how to start. My budget is big, at all. I am interested in taking a sabbatical, don’t mind working abroad for three to six months.
You can start here: exodussummit.com We had a summit on planning a sabbatical or a move abroad, and you can watch the sessions that speak to you. Julie talked about volunteering abroad / work exchanges.
And you can find remote work resources in the Work From Anywhere Toolkit, if you're looking for a job you can do from anywhere while you travel: exodussummit.com/toolkit
I was thinking yesterday, that I missed your YT videos, although I love Exodus Summit! Glad you're back here as well.
I missed you too! I'll probably go live here next Saturday to catch up with you guys. 💗
@@StephaniePerry Great! I can't wait to hear what you've been up to.
Stay safe!
Ok, your visa programs sounds interesting I did immigration for 33 years...all of it from nonimmigrant visas to immigrant visas to labor certification, to residency, to citizenship.
Thanks very helpful info. My only issue is figuring what to do with my 13 yr old but it will work out.
Take them with you and do school online or find an international school. Where are you considering going?
@@StephaniePerry so like alot of women my family home is getting ready for sale, and I need a change. I have no family entanglements but it's a good idea to have my child go to school abroad. She is resistant to change , which I get. She could stay with her dad but I'm more fun. LOL. I'm 51 and I still have life in me and I do want/need to start over. I've traveled the US and I got the travel bug since I was 10. I wanted to stay in Brooklyn/NYC but the amount of rent over even a yr is nuts! This info is great especially for BW, we need to learn there is more to life and we deserve to have the best lives possible . Once I realized I deserve more than I'm getting thats when I thought I can do this. I appreciate you putting this info out there. I just happened upon this on You Tube and just started to listen. Apologies for the length of this. Thank you.
Hello ladies I'm Nicole G... ready to make some moves ❤
I'm sorry, I just signed in. How do I acquire the tool kit? Please advise. Thank you very much.
I’m an overseas contractor and I love being overseas
What is an overseas contractor??
Also the laws r different in other counties
Hello ... I'm a new subscriber 🖤 .. I would love to live in Mexico
Definitely interested in Mexico.
Great choice. You know I love it here. Did you register for the Getting Residency in Mexico workshop?
I would love to have a resource showing a list of countries and/or cities where black women are welcomed & respected, similar to the Green Book for “Negros” in the 1950s but for black women international travelers in 2022. Have you created anything like that? I don’t think I speak only for myself, it would be incredibly useful.
What are the health care costs, services and qualifications ain COI
Hey, I missed the live chat, but I had something to say about Norwegian people. Although I found it easy to meet men, 8t's hard to get past the initial conversation. One American I met who had been working there, said that Norwegians are very reserved. It is hard to make friends, but once you do, you have a friend for life. What will happen a lot is making an appointment to meet and then being stood up with a lame excuse. They are getting used to dark skinned people immigrating. There are lots of Ethiopians in the cities.
Denmark and Norway are lands of the Vikings. Women fought with the men in battle and have their own voice. Women from other countries have less problems than the men. A man can easily be deported if there is any kind of problem, especially with women. There is more equality for women, no matter what country you are from.
Hi Stephanie you are great and your videos are informative. I was wondering if you can access CashApp in MX or rather can you use for methods of payment?
Thanks keep up the good work hope to be in MX soon 😀
Yes! I use CashApp here all the time. Some people use it down here to pay their rent etc.
Hey Stephanie love your podcast. Seriously considering moving abroad. Lol, I live in Delaware.
Are you concerned when hurricane season approaches? Do you remain in Mexico?
I am very interested in the Blexit (Black Exit) from the United States. I saw where you offered a consultation link on another video. Are you still doing this? I do have some questions, but I am going to do my due diligence and watch all of your videos first. Please let me know if you are still offering that service. Blessings
Can you do a video on Portugal? Also how do you move all your crap or do you need to sell everything or leave it behind?
Definitely don't move with your things. I have a video about that here: czcams.com/video/l8ygyRthxC8/video.html
And yes, I'll do a video on Portugal. Until then, check out Driven Spices' videos here: czcams.com/video/tSYUNInCZCQ/video.html
@@StephaniePerry thank u, thank u so much!
Thank you for this Stephanie. Hope your life is going well during all the COVID restrictions....vaccines will finally be on the way for the U.S. I look forward to the day when I can get back out there in the world.
Me tooo!! 💗 Thanks Adele.
if I am looking to move to Canada or US but I have a remote job, buying a one way ticket would allow me in to the country with a visitors Visa?

Has anyone retired or live 3+ months per year in Aruba? I am doing the research but would love to hear from someone who has had or is having that current experience. ✈️🛩✈️
God bless you
What part of Mexico are you staying??
Do I need a visa to go to Mexico
I lives in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania USA
Hi Rosalyn 👋🏿, I'm in Lake Chapala, Mexico. With a US passport you get to visit for 6 months, but if you're considering staying longterm come to our Residency workshop on Mexico. You can sign up here: exodussummit.com/workshops.
God bless you too. 💗
I have been hearing a lot about Ghana welcoming black Americans. Have you ever been to Ghana. And what are your thoughts on moving there.
For me it would not only be the welcoming of black people but also a place where interracial couples are welcome.
Obvously if it feels good for black folks then highly likely to be fine for interracial too. I guess it might depend on the other race...but yeah.
Hi, I take a lot of meds. I'm on Medicare. Will that work aboard? Can I get my meds sent aboard? I will have my own money plus get a monthly retirement check.
Maybe people considering moving abroad should consider joining the foreign service, and becoming a diplomat.
Was the exodus summit an event? Is there a way to rewatch the exodus summit? thx
Yes, you can rewatch the sessions at exodussummit.com 💗
How, how, how to remote work abroad?
If I had the money, it would be easy as hell to move to Thailand.
Are you from Long Island
Hi Stephanie, I am in Melbourne Australia and I`m currently looking at the possibility of moving to Portugal in the next 12-18 months, I`m new to this so I just wanted to find out more and what its like for black women there, if anyone has moved there?
Did you find it....can u share
how much can you earn as a house sitter?
Is it possible to house sit in US. I'll be an intern in US
How is Hawaii to make a home ?
Very expensive!
I have a question, is Talum , Mexico safe for a single woman?
I have all the info one could ever want to know I'm best off in another country, now preferably Portugal first choice BUT I CANNOT CONNECT THE INFO INTO ACTION. IM WILLING TO PAY FOR INDIVIDUAL HELP From ANYONE SERIOUS AND HONEST. I'm lucky to be alive and with retirement check but I can't make the crossing and connections myself with my health limitations. Please ??
Stephanie please help connect me to someone I can pay to help me "return" to EU; bluntly I'm aging not so easily and need relative assistance to make the itinerary and go, I believe Portugal or Mexico best chances for me ... Please not sure how I can really connect to anyone besides the comment section. Help.
Hello, do you know of any females driving to Mexico alone?
I know this is specifically for women. Is this open to men?
Yes, the Getting Residency Abroad and Teaching English Online workshops are open to everyone: exodussummit.com/workshops
