The European games will be a major factor for defining who will become the winner of the Premier League. All 3 had to play the games in every 3 days without a rest, plus Arsenal and Manchester City will face tougher oppositions in UCL (Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, respectively). Of course, Arsenal and Manchester City will play each other in the UCL semi if both progressed. Manchester City will also face Chelsea in the FA Cup semi, right after the UCL quarterfinal. Not to mention, a quarterfinal win for Arsenal and Manchester City could affect England's fate on having 5 clubs playing in the Champions League the next season.

i hate when the league has teams out of sync on games played, teams have played 27,28 and some are upto date on 29 games. i think 7/8 games need to be played. spain 1 game, italy 1 game, france, germany & nederlands all up to date. i feel it messes with the integrity of the league when fixtures are all over the place

    • @matthewjones6836

It is more so required in the premier league because of all the cup fixtures that need to be integrated, lots of times teams fall behind on league matches because they find themselves deeper rounds of cup matches than the teams that have already been knocked out. In many of the other leagues they only have 1 cup and they get factored into the seasons schedule better.

In my opinion arsenal cannot drop more than 5 points from now until the end which might sound alot with only 10 games left but its only a loss and a draw. Liverpool definitely have the easier fixtures left in my opinion with the only 'hard' game is man united at Old Trafford. However that FA cup game might be the reason they win at Old Trafford in the league

The take on Arsenal being a bit reliant on set pieces feels a bit off. That’s been true for much of the season, but since the turn of the year Arsenal haven’t had that problem when it comes to scoring from open play, so that more recent form is probably more indicative of where they’re going to be at in the run in.

@@totsh2056 we didn’t have an answer for injured players; we were too reliant (and to a certain degree still are) on certain players (Saka, Odegaard and Saliba) but this season he’s been using an array of tactics which even if these guys aren’t having a good game the team is still performing well. Part of that’s down to recruitment too, but being able to revert through either wing back is useful and the different options a player like Havertz unlocks for the team was needed. The only player we don’t have an answer for is Saka. Sure players like Havertz, Jesus, Trossard, Vieira, and Nelson can attempt to fill that void but atm it’s really untested aside from Nelson who made an impact last season but excels as a supersub rather than over the span of 90 minutes.

Seen a lot to talk about who has the 'hardest fixture' but in reality, overall, the teams each of the three challengers have to play are all relatively similar to the point that, as always, only the performances of the challengers are what matter.
    It's a bit of a fallacy really.

As a city fan, no I don't understand why James doesn't want us to win. James always paints around this but I think he should be honest about not liking us. Always complaining about Pep spending money as if Manchester United and recently Chelsea haven't spent more, as if Klopp didn't let a 60m euro Naby Keita rot on the bench. Always complaing City always have a better squad apparently and yet never crediting Pep's squad management of players and accommodating injuries. I'm tired of hoping James will give us the credit that we deserve. Please come out and actually admit that you don't like us at all. James hardly touches on the fact that we could make history and eclipse fergies achievement of a 3peat. We could actually create history here by being the first English side to win 4 in a row but James never entertains or even mentions that idea. To all the city fans reading this, there is a disgusting agenda of not acknowledging our greatness. That is purely unfair

Now you’re saying city have the best squad out of the 3, what? This is absolutely not the case… city has the worst or second but definitely not best. Arsenals team rn is definitely better.. they have a younger squad. This city is not the same as last year… there’s no mahrez, no gundo, kdb has been injured all year and since he’s been back he recently has been carrying the injury again, halaand has been injured for ages and out of form, stones has been out most of the year and just came back. The only players that are there and in form are foden, Dias and Walker (he hasn’t been crazy but he’s been good). Ake has been injured as well recently

The way people try and find reasons to convince themselves that Arsenal will lose is INSANE. This whole video was finding reasons and excuses on why it will be harder for Arsenal. Because of fixtures, or back to back, or Champions League, or set pieces, or their bench... The way people default to failure is stunning sometimes. To be clear, I'm not saying Arsenal will win anything. I'm just saying to way people talk about them is hilarious, and they don't even realize it.
