      I don't even think Dalot has been that good either, it seems more people are begging him up more simply because he has played more games than 98% of the players. He doesn't offer enough going forward and gets found out way too often defensively.

    City fan here. Honestly, hard to choose between them. But I'm edging more towards Foden due to the facts you mentioned in the video. Plus you also have to consider that he is shouldering a lot of City attacking output due to Haaland poor season (by his own ridiculous standards) and KDB half a season absence due to injury. As for Rodri, he is definitely City's most important player purely for the fact that we just dont have someone who can cover for him (last season Gundo would play Rodri's role if he needed a rest). Rodri also have that red card goes against him

    Gomes is brilliant and definitely a contender but i'd have 3 names ahead.
    - Cunha has been the best player simply, I voted him. 22 G/A while usually being the deepest of our frontline, incredibly fun to watch, lots of memorable moments (West Brom goal, Chelsea hattrick, Forest goal, Spurs assist etc).
    - Lemina, our supporters pots, has arguably been our most important player especially the first half of the season. Absolute monster & captain material. Think Gomes is a better footballer but over the whole year? Lemina's been our best midfielder.
    - Semedo, player's pots, Definitely our most consistent. Not many fullbacks in the league more well rounded either. Not sure why neutrals think he's terrible but oh well, atleast he got recognition from the club.

  • @tykrise
    @tykrise Před 21 dnem

    Brighton, Joao Pedro has been immense. Most of his goals have been Penalties, which for any other team would probably be a negative to his POTS chances. But being so calm and reliable during the chaos of this season (injuries, European debut, loud-mouth manager, zero January business) is something Brighton haven't had since getting promoted to PL. He is the 'chance-taker' that pundits kept telling us to sign ever since the Graham Potter xG dynasty of 20/21.

    Lerma was by far our most consistent performer when we were struggling under hodgson, if he hadn’t been injured so much under glasner I think he would be nailed on for player of the season. Andersen is incredible and has been a real leader for us over the season but his form took a massive dip after the first couple months. Olise is easily our best player but he’s missed so much through injury so would be unfair to give it to him. Probably between Lerma, eze and Mitchell for me

With that being said, the Player of the Season for me should be Lewis Dunk. Is super hard to explain why he is that good if you don't usually watch Brighton games, but he is the biggest class player Brighton has seen in the last 5 years (since I'm from Spain, it really wasn't easy for me to follow Premier League since then).
