Awesome review, Vince! I love your vids! Keep up the good work!
Hmm another nice review bro, pros and cons still highlighted that's why i stay watching your reviews. Keep it up Vince. 😊
Very nice and detailed review ! All the information a buyer needs and more ! Thanks brother 🙏
My mom just checked out the Veloz at Toyota Alabang yesterday. Man, it feels like an almost luxurious Avanza considering that it has more features than what everyone gets in the Avanza. At ₱1.2 million, it's also affordable, and better than buying Chinese alternatives. Maybe I'll go with the Veloz first before upgrading to a Range Rover in 5 years.
true! i was considering Geely's cars... But this one has improved a lot!
try the new brv
I really like sir vince, i don't know but the way you reviews the car, for me its different from others. You are one of the best. Godbless
Great review! Also, can we have an insight from you about Rush GRS 2023? Thanks!
The stock premium tires it comes with is worth mentioning... (y) A neighbor's BMW crossover comes stock with those Bridgestone Turanza's too.
Can I make a request? Please review the new Xpander Cross GLX variant and have a head to head comparison the E variant of Avanza. Thanks
tama nga po na parang minadali ang engine bay area at parang tinipid, pero ok lang mahalaga economical sya to have. ikaw na lang mag dagdag ng aftermarket add ons.
Any thoughts or review for veloz vs xpander gls?
What is that protruding tonge-like below the front bumper? Same with avanza, perfect “scoop” on humps and muds.
Great review Sir...
I like when you use inches for dimension for the cargo space rather than liters
Unless youre filling it up with liquid 😅
I think we should also use inches instead of millimeters 😎
Looking nice! Might go for this than the Coolray
Hi thanks for the video.. just checking to compare vs Veloz Malaysia
Meron n bang cabin filter si avanza or veloz
Spot on!
Does it have tyre pressure sensor?
The Veloz rear AC system isn’t good, it’s hot during daytime. The rear AC system of its competitors are way better than the Veloz. Or if you’re truly a Toyota fanboy, might as well get the Innova.
hello veloz v or brv v 2023?
How did you turn-off the AEB sir? I cant seem to find it in the settings! Hope u can answer!
Look for a button near your left knee. It will look like two cars about to hit
105 HP with a chassis that heavy. It will do with city driving but it is noticeably lacking if you go on road trips more often.
Horsepower is not the issue. Torque is. Pareho lang ng HP yan ng first gen Innova diesel but it gets beaten by the torque. Torque is what you need for hauling people and uphill driving.
If only the ground clearance is a little bit higher.
Hi sir Vince 👋🏻
dash are the same only the buttons and materials used are different
UNDERPOWERED
Compared to Corolla even the old model ones. The ride difference is night and day.
Great!
Can you compare it with the brv vx
No way... brv is a beast
BR-V's interior is far more luxurious than it looks in pictures. Veloz may have all the fancy designs and all, but the materials are mostly composed of plastic, even the V variant only used a few leather all throughout inside, whereas the BR-V VX that we have has really nice quality leather materials. There are also plastics inside, but only in those areas that aren't really noticed much or touched by the passengers.
And one thing: the BR-V has the much better engine overall. You'd definitely need that when you want to go out of town and enter terrains with lots of uphill climbs. The engine wouldn't feel as tired as the Veloz's engine because it has enough power to climb uphills even when fully-loaded.
The Veloz has better set of features perhaps, but the BR-V feels nothing short of lacking in the important areas.
I can't say about ride quality of Veloz, but other people who have it are saying that the ride quality isn't that good. But for sure, our BR-V's ride quality is superb. Even when going on bumps, the suspension absorbs the impacts really well. You'd still feel the bumps of the road, of course, but it does so in a good way that it's informing you that the road isn't paved, but is not so much that it makes you dizzy or tired during the ride.
BR-V also has higher ground clearance, if you ever need that thing.
Choosing between BRV (S), Veloz (V), and Xpander (GLS). Any suggestions? Kinda leaning towards BRV because of the power
I'd definitely suggest BRV, it looks much better aside from the power advantage.
Honda is durable and and it has a good reputation when it comes to the car..it's a bit pricey, if you want a budget meal, xpander is also ok, that's Veloz because the body is said to be thin
Ask your wife😂
Was in the same situation months ago, and ended up with the BRV primarily because of slightly better power output. With all 7 seats taken plus cargo, you'll be thankful for those few more horse power and Newton Meters of torque. Others would say the BRV stands a bit lower and simple, but that is exactly what I love about it. It doesn't try too hard to be a good-looking.
Honestly, either of the 3 is good for family use. We ended up with the Veloz mainly because of our preference in looks. Unless you're in a people hauling business, power is negligible.
what's AEB and EPB glitches?
AEB did a full brake for nothing on the highway.
EPB had a warning light one morning. Then went away after a restart of the car
If they would go back to 15 inch tires the ride would be better .
Good
@@autoindustriyaafter purchasing the veloz and after glancing at this vlog..
May free 1 year comprehensive insurance, 3 years lto at third party liability insurance pag paid in cash. Almost 60K daw ang freebies.
Can it even drive 7 people up to Baguio?
Yung Avanza 1.3e AT nga with 7 pax and with luggage naka akyat how much more the Veloz?
Tried it. Yes panik ng Baguio ang Veloz.
👍
Mahal daw ang salary deduction ng windshield
Downside is the CVT transmission!
Not really. Unless you're in a people hauling business, CVT is more than enough for family use.
I dont like the performance of aircon in veloz.
Marcos highway has longer steep inclines than Kennon Road.
Vigan to Baguio via marcos highway..a month ago... veloz v 3k max rpm.. paakyat.. 3 hours drive
@@gaynorburgos4477 Wooah. How many people are inside the car? Did you feel short in power? or it's just enough?
Any contact no. We are planning to buy this coming july.. we love to buy veloz automatic
Sayang pera mo jan...lakas sa gas hina pa humatak.. pero choice mo yan eh hahaha
who is better overall, honda city hatchback or toyota veloz?
You're wife
@@koyaedgar1979 I'm still young, I'm only 19 years old ok
city hatch
Not an apples-to-apples comparison. It would depend on how you will use the car. In my opinion, the Veloz is better.
@@richiedirk41 go for the veloz bro the more tropa you can ride with the more fun you'll have
While it's your right as a content creator to make any title as you see fit, claiming the Veloz as the best 7-seater is way too subjective. Other than being sponsored by Agila, this also looks like Toyota-sponsored. For that price point, a bit more it would have already been a BRV which has more power with Honda Sensing, or even an Innova which is more practical. Nevertheless, great video and review!
Did you noticed the question mark at the end of the statement?
your seatbelt is almost at your neck...
so basically it’s the same car
2:30 kita si koya barniiiiee sa headlight. Skl
Ang ayaw ko sa veloz.. Parang naka
Dapa.. Lapad ang baba ground clearance.. Parang hinde maganda tingnan.. Parang nakadapa nah
Everyone has their own taste. For us, it's looks is one of the factors on why we bought it.
Vigan to baguio via marcos highway..3 hours..baguio to qc.. 3 hrs via marcos highway , tplex, sctex nlex
underpowered. overpriced.
I really don't get the under powered criticism. We've had our Veloz since December and this has never been our problems on trips with 5 to 6 persons as well as multiple bags. How about own this first before commenting.
@@DeoAlongveloz and expander are underpower thats the fact.. consuming lot of gas.. the fuck
Don't buy.
too basic, under-powered.

@@DeoAlong Hi Thaddeus, don't need to own it. As an experienced car owner, a test drive and comparisons is all I need to form my personal opinion - that's whats this video is about - right?
Its a modern basic economical family car no more no less.
Definitely not. I was overtaking with ease even when the Veloz is fully loaded. Used to have doubts before but not anymore after driving it to Bicol.
