Why tf are people defending the skoda the left lane is for speed why tf is he entering it at 50kmph. And even if he wanted to switch lanes you need to check your mirrors which he didn't. By law the golf is right in this situation
Because in Germany are a lot of stupid people who think " oh I'm going 150kph that's really fast let's switch the lane to overtake someone" but 150kph isn't very fast in Germany. But that's the way especially old people think here and what causes crashes
Because they are idiots... Probably they drive the same dangerous way. Waiting for "passing"(But it is more blocking the left lane) another car until they see a fast car is near enough and then changing the lane. Today it is very common on our Autobahn...
@@MrQmie instead of typing a post full of assumptions and wild guesses you could try and see what really happened here: a guy thought it was cool or 'necessary' to go 240kph on a crowded highway and was totally surprised by the fact that something could go wrong in a situation like this. again, if you actually watched the vid you might have noticed that the ABS was working during and even still after the collision. good news is that the guy was using the full braking potential of the car - in fact many accidents could be avoided if more people did that. however bad news is that this was still not enough which means that the crash could have (easily) been avoided at a lower speed. you might want to consider this before jumping to wild guesses and assumptions again....
@@pc-pq6es speeding on those highways is perfectly legal even at those speeds, its not always for driving for fun or just speeding the heck cause they can, people uses those roads to get to the point they need to go. Going 240km/h on the furthest left lane is legal but changing lanes dangerously is not. There is a fucking mirror there that you can look for if there is somebody going faster than you and not willing to slow down before switching lanes. This is not even fault of the car we in, all blame for this is the car switching the lanes. Golf was aware in that situation and reacted fairly quick but fucking skoda proceeded to switching lanes after golf signalled it.
Not everyone going fast is in blame, sometimes these assholes just become much more dangerous threat.
@@cengizteouluyurt7053 Yes, it's legal to drive 240 km/h on the left lane but the driver could get problems for this crash too. In Germany, there is a recommended speed of 130 km/h on ALL parts of the Autobahn. That means you have to match your speed to the traffic on the different lanes, if the highway isn't empty like in the video this speed could count as reckless driving because he was way over 130 km/h. If the driver has bad luck he probably get's a ticket and a part of the fault (and has to pay the damage on his car himself because of that).

I had two situations I can remember when people abrubtly pulled out in front of me like that at about 200km/h and I had to immediately ABS break, almost hitting them. More times than that, maybe 3, I high beamed people that I might not have evaded and they mamanged to jerk back in lane. This was handled so well, most people can't even handle a hit at 50 never mind 240
Yes, the computer handled very well. The driver doesn't seem to be very experienced.
This speeding driver is a total idiot. In Germany we have a recommend speed of 130kmph. In heavy traffic like this, to be driving so fast is reckless and a danger to all roads users.
@@karlkarlsson1109 you are just stupid.... The guy in Skoda did not use the side mirrors, its his fault....
@@djordjestojkovic9381 actually according to Germany law, if you are travelling at speed over 130kmph you automatically are partly responsible. It doesn't matter what the other driver did
@@karlkarlsson1109 Oh, sorry then. I didnt know that, and that is kinda nice law, i like it. But its still skodas fault.... :D
Man, that was easily avoided if you had braked before, but instead you first flash the high beam. It sucks, of course. I hope you sorted it out. Take care
this happened to me on the 405, the nerve of some people to change lanes at 60mph while i'm doing 120mph SMH it's just unprofessional
Why do some people change to the left Lane just to drive slow...
Better than to change without looking
Was horrible when i was on the autobahn, i got a 125cc motorcyclr and wanted to overtake a truck, so i go with 110kph a bmw having to go full on brakes flashing lights behind me... Scary shit man 😂
Cause North America usually.
@@jonathanmartin7204 exactly
When I lived in Germany, late 90's I was taught that the rules were you had to "clear" traffic from your left; therefore the merging driver at fault. although major portions of the Autobahn have unlimited speed limits, if accident happens when speeds are exceeding 130 km/hr both parties are considered guilty. I really enjoyed the Autobahn when I was there, think I'd reticent now about rolling along at 250km/hr with so many immigrants in the country sharing the road.
Realistically it's not the fact the autobahn is derestricted that causes accidents its the people who have no experience of driving quickly and people who don't bother driving safely that go on there for the first time and expect it to be perfectly safe to drive as they would normally. Lack of attention
The problem is that you can't keep stupid people off the road, so there have to be rules to make them less dangerous.
The problem is letting stupid people drive. Sorry not sorry. Try and change my mind
@@vsenile5391
The problem is that people aren't machines and can turn stupid at any time, due to tiredness, getting emotionally agitated, distractions etc.
Yes, you shouldn't drive when any of that happens but often it happens when you are already driving...
@@vsenile5391 so how do you want to enforce this? Mandatory iq tests or what? 😂
Seems like you shouldn't be qualified for a drivers license either then...
@Calmfucker Fuck yes I know, that was my point

It's amazing how stable the car remained even after hitting the brakes hard.
its because he didn't slam on them
That is what anti-lock bracking system is for
@@Cowculus If you ever drove 240 youd know tat its impossible to slam them at 240. Youd end up in a concrete wall turned on your roof real fast. He braked hard and its still a very stable car.

Hi, could you do a vid on how you mount use ur go pro to not be so discomforting? Thank you in advance
Even if it's legal, driving above 180 on a highway, which is not empty, is simply stupid. One older Helmut misses you in the mirror and you may be dead.
