I was only asking you about this a few weeks ago lol 😂 🥰... what about teenage boys dating... I have been talking to my son about relationships and treating girls with respect. I think he is listening, in between telling me to Shut up and go away lol 😆 💕
Sarah Brennan, I hope he is listening, such an important message.
What a fortunate Daughter to have this Dad. Engaged and concerned. My parents were far less engaged and I did a bunch of dumb stuff that I miraculously survived with minimal unhappy endings.
Phenomenal Female, So glad you are at the channel now. I think we all did dumb stuff when we were younger, but I know what you mean. Engaged parents can head off some of the "dumb stuff." Glad to have you at the channel.
Have you written a book on positive parenting? Or is there a book you recommend that parallels your perspectives?
I was about 5 seconds away from your announcement at the end of the video LOL...
I just placed my book order! I have three very small kids and I have learned a lot from your Channel.
Lightning Gazelle, I saw your other comments, thanks for ordering.
Dr. Jenkins, my 18 year old daughter just had her 2nd date with her first boyfriend (technically, he's not her boyfriend yet, but it's looking that way). We have two children: 1 girl and 1 boy (18 and 16). While at 18, I understand she's technically an adult but she still lives in our home and will, of course, always be my little girl. It's an interesting, emotional time, to experience having her move into this next phase of her life. Have you done a video on the emotional aspect of letting your young adult "leave the nest"? I didn't see one in a brief search of your videos.
Not really, I will have to think on that.
You don't realize what you put your parents through, until you become one😬😒
Yvette D., so true, kids are focused on themselves and don't realize how they affect others with their actions.
Where are the rules for dating my teenage son? lmao! Never see those.
Nicole J, yeah, there are some mom's that interview, but very few, not enough for a video. They wouldn't watch anyway.
True!!!
You know Iam suprised (without talking about religion)
The way you show how a father fears for his daughter is similar to ours in the Arab world
We all want to protect our families.
I dont agree with the idea that only boys are bad and girls are sinless. I mean is your daughter expected to treat the boy with respect, can the boy's parents demand information from her, in regards to rules what if she wants to do something that breaks the boy's family's rules. What if she wants him to see a movie, say Twlight or Harry Potter, that his parents dont like? Did you expect your son's girlfriends to protect their virtue and morals?
Tim Riggins - thanks for watching and trying to understand. I did not mean to give the impression that boys are bad and girls are sinless. This was simply a topic idea and I made a video on it with this particular perspective.
the title is a little ( it suggests how to groom a daughter " rules for dating my teenage daughter" )... i suggest "6 simple rules to date my teenage daughter"
just saying
H-asma, the CZcams team titles the videos, thanks.
Do these boys excist
Mary Hamilton, some do. Honest.
