    INGREDIENTS:
    3/4 cup regular rice
    1/4 cup glutinous rice
    Cooking oil
    4 tablespoons minced garlic, for garnish
    2 tablespoons minced onion
    1/2 kilo chicken pieces
    6 cups chicken stock
    2 tablespoons fish sauce
    2 tablespoons minced ginger
    1 teaspoon white pepper
    For the soaking liquid:
    1/2 teaspoons salt
    1 cup water
    2 tablespoons oil
    For garnish:
    Fried Garlic
    Spring onions
    Boiled egg

    During the spanish colony here in the PH. Daghan espanol ang nagpuyo sa Cebu. Kaya maraming mestisa/mestizo dito sa Cebu. Naay mga taga El Salvador (spain) nga nagpuyo pud. Unya naay nagluto nga pinoy ug arroz caldo.. Pagkaon sa taga el salvador (spaniard). Nangutana. (of course in Spanish) translated to bisaya by me? (hehehe)

    yan ang tunay na arroz caldo very simpol talaga the original! hindi ko type yung arroz caldo na may bagoong alamang ! nakita ko sa ibang video. nawawala ang tunay na texture pati kulay at feeling ko maalat na . yung iba may bagoong na may patis asin at ibang pang palasa! dapat simple lang simpol diba!

    According to Wiki, Arroz Caldo is also known as pospas in the Visayan region. Like in Cebu, it's called pospas. Some folks in Cebu are like Spanish folks. There dialect is Chabacanos. It could be a dialect name of Arroz Caldo is Pospas.

Pero iyung salitang Pospas kung saan po nanggaling iyun po ang hindi ko masasagot at hindi ko rin po naitatanong kay Nanay kung ano ang istorya at saan nagmula ang salitang Pospas.
