Unfortunately Adidas had to cutback in basketball after 2018 because they were putting so much into these great shoes like the Crazy Explosives, Crazylight Boost and Hardens but they weren't selling well enough to justify the premium materials
Damn that sucks people will go for name brand instead of actual comfort

@@sydguitar99 I think they fell off before then I bought crazy shadow or crazy explosive every year for about 4 years in a row and they got really flimsy and cheap on the last pair in 2015. I switched to the hyper dunk and same thing it fell off around like 2019. Idk any shoe available for like $75 at academy that is actually high quality.

My favourite is the kobe 9 elite, love those boxing boot style high top, it just follows my foot very well, the insole had those studs that grip onto my sock, no slippage, just an amazing shoe to play in, expensive tho…
the Crazylight Boost 2016 and Harden Vol 3s are definitely my favorite low tops of all time. Amazing materials, great fit, durable traction, and responsive but yet soft cushion
Stockx just verified and shipping out to me the Jordan 36 year of Tiger, cost me about $497, great colorway I am not going wear them because like Kobe 10 elite which is now $1,200 dollar I won't wear the Jordan 36 year of Tiger and save them up as collectable shoes.
Honestly I haven't seen many Jordan 36 Year of the Tiger shoes so my guess is it a great collectors shoe, wearing them would depreciate the value
Crazy lights and hardens would be top tier if they didn’t have heel slippage

Harden 3s and KD 14s are my favorite indoor shoes and for outdoors I go with the pg 4s and 5s.
1 to 5 with 5 being the best
1. Nike bb..was a line J Kidd and Steve mash wore
2.Jordan 11 but from 2012…had great cushion and traction
3.Kobe 9 high…just felt super secure
4.Jordan 36…I’m currently hooping in those and I thought the bump in the fore foot was going to throw me off but it doesn’t and the zoom set up is dope
5. Kobe ad nxt 360…I like how low I was to the ground..super grippy..I remember one time I did like a snatch back on a defender after pushing the ball up the court full speed and I actually hurt my heel because the shoe gripped the floor so well..but I felt like my first step was unguardable

How does the straps feel?
Will they resist in the long run ?
@@jacobunderwood4160 personally I'd go with the version with laces, the straps didn't feel too durable in my experience anyways, but then again I don't take care of my shoes as often as I should.
I love my Crazy Explosive. Beastly traction and the Boost cushion really is super comfortable but my favorite about it is how stable my feet is because it just is super wide. I also love my Lillard 2. That Continental rubber outsole is still going strong even after 6 years of playing.

Those Hyperdunk 2017’s were dope!! I loved them.
Love all these but I gotta add the Air Jordan 29. The 29 is tremendously good for performance. Cushion, bite, and comfort is top notch. The looks of the shoe to me scream basketball, and the material allowed customization that is unmatched.

No Puma Clyde All Pro??? It was arguably the best basketball shoe of 2020. Though there isn't much basketball at that time.

Kobe 11 elite and the harden 3 will hands down be my go to for basketball. Love both of those shoes and the Harden’s are so comfortable

I absolutely loved the curry 4’s and I got them in a super sick colorway but I played a few aau games and practices in them and they almost fell apart.

surprised to not see either the puma clyde allpros and or the nike gt cut. i would say the gt cut out performed the kobe 9 low in every aspect (materials, cushion, heel to toe transition, etc.) except for the traction (because that kobe 9 is just built different).

The pg3 are awesome but my pair always cut into my foot with the top two shoelace holes. Why they made then in metal or plastic, I dont know but that ruined the shoe for me personally

(I'm prone to ankle rolls) Preferably low top but mid/hi top totally good too if its light and doesn't hinder one's bounce. Any advice? Bought Crazy Explosives from Marshalls for $41 a few years ago. Use those for outdoor basketball and they still have treads.

I had the Kobe 11 EM in the exact same colour and the traction was the absolute worst. I had really problems in them. Seriously, I was shocked when you said that you liked the traction.

I have to disagree about the foam on the Hyperdunk 2017. One of the best cushion set ups in a basketball shoe.

Kyrie 2 is god tier shoes all over. The shoes fucking injury free. Feel the court. Traction > everything else. Sliding gives injury which never happen with Kyrie 2. Light shoes = less chance of injuries on calves and eveyrhting. Solid heel actually better then cushion heel. I dunk the fk outta in these only as a 5”8

@@mr.potatohead3870 basically every basketball shoe is good for outdoor, target the mamba focus kobes they are great. target any shoe that has top tier grip(rubber grip) no glacier just cuz it will disintegrate faster
@@mr.potatohead3870 the grip is pretty hard fot outdoor & doesnt pick a lot of dust. But the rubber is soft if we compare to KD 14/13 or even All pro. I think KD 14/13 or All Pro is better for outdoor use

The problem I had with my kyrie 4 was when it bottomed out, it hurt so much to use that going barefoot was way more comfortable.

I heard Vanessa and Nike may yet come to an agreement so don’t give up all hope yet! I would looove to have the 9 protroed also! Word on the street is that Nike offered a low ball, she declined, but now they realize how hyped Kobe’s are and are negotiating for larger deal. Keep your fingers crossed! We’ll see what happens!
