We are finally rocking and rolling the tempest water polisher/ filter, the UV system and the Nexus 220 koi pond filter are all in action.
We have treated for blanket weed so the water is still murky but we are dragging a lot of algae and other solids out of the system via the pond filters and polishers.
This is going to be a long journey getting my koi pond back to being clear.
Hopefully all blanket weed and algae has died off and its juts a case of removing it from the pond now

You’ve got a really great pond there , it will be stunning in the summer when you’ve got the water clarity sorted (and you will get it sorted👍). Feels like an uphill battle for the first couple of months but it will all come together all of a sudden👍. You’re doing the right things so just keep at it and be patient🤞👍.

I’m no expert at all I only build my pond last September. But the other week I brushed my pond walls and floor because of all the blanket weed and I couldn’t even make out my fish at the window! My pump on my bottom drain is running at 50% so I turned it up to 100% thought I made a massive mistake and would have to drain the pond and refill but the next day it was crystal clear again I just had to clean out my tempest and easypod a good 3 times! So I might help turning your pump up
