Very interesting video Dave I’ve took the plunge and bought a trident upflow for my nexus 200 so installing it his weekend looking at your pond it really does the job
Good bit of kit. Just remember you’ll be cleaning more to start with. Any help, just shout 👍🏼

nice glasses. im looking to add a bakki as 2nd filter im still using my old box and like you said with the pressure filter it holds dirt etc
It’s worth it. Even if you go with a diy jobby. It’s nice to have the sound of water 👍🏼

Bringing it into 2022 😂 With one tempest I could only throw 5-7k over the shower which isn’t enough really. 👍🏼
Wonder if Neil could build an improved tempest filter.
I fitted 2 Tempest, working well, did you have less media in new one than your other Tempest, what size pump you used and flow rate on pump, another good video.
I didn’t look to be honest. I’ll have a check. The pump I use is a 20000 vari set at 75% 👍🏼
My k1 bead filter cakes up my filter floss on the shower after 3 days even drums let through crap but yeah them pressure filters are crap bad bacteria factories. I wud fancy the trident but due to a busy schedule 4 days per filter clean us the best i can do. Could it manage that or overflow? My ponds got 8 koi n is 1300 gallons
