“Who the Hell are you?”
“Princess Cirilla of Cintra”
Was soo powerful for me because she hasn’t been able to announce her title along with her name in soo long.
Your explanations are so helpful to people like me that have not read the book or played the video game. Thanks for doing this!
Same....I didn't read the books nor played the games, these videos helped me a lot for S1 as well ...also the comment section has wonderful info from those who read the books 🙏🤍
I haven't read the books or played the game ( my Son has done both) all that it seems to be is for the books and/or the game 🎮,is that I just watched both seasons twice now! And I love this show!! I always watch anything i enjoy twice over ( thanks Netflix!👍💯❣️) I also like some of the CZcams videos! So I'm going to just leave it at watch it again if you don't get it... Watch the videos and don't let the "i haven't read the books or played the game" excuse screw up enjoying a good show! With my respect for the CZcams videos like this ! 👍🤣 Apparently as long as people have that excuse, your videos will get millions of people "liking " and thanking God you do these things or they wouldn't even be "watching" The Witcher!!! 🏹🗡️⚔️🛡️😊👍💯🆒😁😉
"...at least in the books she was" lmao something about this felt like shade
right my jaw dropped lmao
6/10
Fr😭😭😭😭😭😭
😂
Man you one of a kind, so beautifully explained. After waching a episode i have to wach your post in case i missed something. LEGEND Thank you
Honestly! After every episode u gotta come back here to watch this mad lad give his amazing explanation.
I'm really disappointed in Eskel's character.. he seemed too hostile towards Geralt.. Whereas in the books and games, they have always been fast friends.. and to kill him off like that? Seems weird
That was the goal I guess because the actor playing him looks like a complete scumbag imo
Maybe he isn't dead tho... He might come back in the future... We'll see
I always heard eskell was like geralts equal and they made him too young and completely wasted the character is honestly so upsetting I’m so pissed off
@@julijan2653 I don't want him to come back honestly, terrible choice of actor anyway
Coen is basically the real Eskel anyway.
Jelly, your videos are awesome. It would be nice if you add 5 minutes or so to your future Witcher recap videos, just giving us your own personal opinion on the episode and what you liked/didn't like overall.
can't wait for you to do the rest of the episodes.. im kinda waiting for you to start the next episode because im always so confused lol
Wow, I thought I was going crazy. I remember Eskel as being a friendly guy, not a total jerk, glad to know that I remembered that right. Kind of miffed they changed his character. Excellent overview and explanation. Thanks!
Thank God you're back you give the most detailed and wonderful recaps
More more more! These are so helpful in case I miss something or don’t get something. Thanks!
Enjoying the break downs and anxiously awaiting the next video !
These really help. Thanks for making them.
I could be wrong as I haven't read the book. But i remember seeing in a review of the 3rd game, in the comment section, was said that fire magic can cause you to loose the ability to use magic, as its happened to Ciri in the book not yennifer. The explanation that was given was that fire magic was a elemental magic and unpredictable, which is why ciri lost the ability to use magic, but she still had her inherited wild magic that couldn't be taken away, though I could be wrong.
Love your work man🖤keep going forward 🖤🖤🖤
Always eager to watch your analysis. I look forward for the entire season. Thank you!
I really like your videos! Can’t wait for the next please
I've already watched S02 but I have to watch your breakdowns, they're so informative.
I feel like S02 is just badly written
who is the actress that played the girl in red robe or YenR Alt? she look so familiar like ive seen her from another movie before
Way to roast that poor actress😂🤣
Love your videos man. Eagerly Waiting for your videos for all episodes.
I love your videos so much I’m not watching anymore of your season until you upload more
THANK YOU
How much better is the outro music in this season? Amazing tunes!
Appreciate you for these !!!
Good stuff
Thank you very much for the explanation. It was funny when you said you had no clue about Baba Yaga, because that was the only thing I had clue about... being Slovak. We have this "baba" = old, unpleasant, repulsive woman in our fairytales, and yes, she lives in a cottage which is placed on a giant chicken leg and turns to you, only if you command the cottage to do so. But Baba Yaga is basically an old witch, more common in Ukrainian and Russian fairytales.
But anyway, it bothers me, that I need to seek an explanation for the story. I think it should be made quite clear for non-readers. Like Harry Potter. I read HP, and saw the films, but I think it was clear enough for viewers what was going on even if they did not read the books, thought less complex.
Waiting for episode 3 and 4 explanation here. 😊
Look forward to the rest of the season even though pretty easy to understand this season 😉
Haven't finished the season yet, but how can Eskel be dead (clearly shows his remains in E3)? He's alive in the games, which take place much later (and doesn't die in the books either while Ciri is at Kaer Morhen if I remember correctly), so did they diverge this drastically or is there some necromancy coming up?
The Netflix show differs significantly from the book and the game
maybe say [Potential Spoiler] before your comment?
The games have nothing to do with the show. 98% of people watching don't know anything about the games. Don't bring expectations to a show like this with you. Just enjoy what they display for us. :)
@@charlesshaw2464 Good! Who would want a series that they could predict in every detail?
@@blaze556922 Yes, the show is set before the games supposedly based on the books, however inspired by the books would be a more accurate description. Doesn't make it a bad show, just different from what they let us to believe.
patiently waiting for the rest of the season 😄
You did not explained why the withc in the woods want yennerfer to desperate. crisp. I am very confused about that scene, and the blood from her wrists. you did not explain that at all.
He said the whole scene was not in the books. So he can't explain it. It was made up for the show.
I came to this video with the same questions.
What happens to Yenneffer in the show with losing powers happens to Ciri in the books when she’s with “little horse” in the desert.
would've loved if you linked the events and the characters to the animated film also. thanks tho
whens the next video coming out? love the content
Thanks 🙏🏽 episode 3 breakdown please
Ep 03 Please
Whaaaat? What do you mean the young girl is supposed to be how the daughter of Geralt and Yen would look?! Where did you get that from? I was going insane trying to figure out who she was.
Do more witcher episodes pls🔥🔥
As you’ve alluded to in your vid. The female elf in lady looked so weird to me , like idk what it was. It was like a psycho death stare 😂, and with all the liberties they took this season that you mentioned , I’m not sure if I like what they’re doing
Literally was so confused by this 'mother of the night' and the wishes, why her magic disappeared. I'm so glad that you were Suggested to me! By far the most thorough and knowledgeable explanation.
Also to add: I know I played this game when it first came out. I can't remember if it was for PC only or was what I call (because I'm old lol) a point and click? ( Not my style if so) I know I played this video game but I don't hardly remember any of it, it's been so long.
Anyway, wanted to comment for the great breakdown & the algorithm. Thank you! ETA: baba vanga was a real life mystic ' modern Nostradamus' and known for her accuracy of predictions coming true. She was also from Central Europe in regards to the Slavic folklore here. Also, pretty need to know that this was filmed a lot in that region of the world.
1:20 yikes
In the series Eskel is more Lambert than Lambert is
maybe they accidentally switched the names in the script? lol
And I've been thinking Baba Yaga is the Boogeyman all this time. Damn you Viggo!
what is "desperation crisp"
Maybe someone asked this already, but why did Geralts eyes turn green before saving Vesamir? Haven't seen that before. Can you explain?
If they did that is a mistake lol they shouldn't change colors
@@JellyJugz take a look and let me know. I thought it was strange too.
"Atleast in the book she was"
Low blow bro 🤣
I really wasn't trying to be mean lol they just mention it a lot in the books and it has yet be mentioned in the TV show
Anyone one else PISSED ABOUT ESKEL!?
What did he mean at 16:02?
My guess is Yen has to bring Ciri to the old lady to have her wish fulfilled.. Might be what he's hinting at.
@@Tybren he says “It’s really obvious… may be for me, I played the games.”
Didn’t he also mentioned that the witch in the woods does not appear neither in the games nor the books?
Her wish is to have a child, that child will be ciri which she will adopt as her's and gerelts
Wow. The speed at which they took all the source material from the books and threw it into the fire is extremely disappointing. I'll still keep watching the show, but it hurts me on the inside.
cant move to the next episode until I see your review.
Daughter, Mother, and Crone.
Ron Jeremy vesemir am I right !? xD
Is this witch character supposed to be similar to the witches of the bog in Witcher 3?
3 ladies of woods?,...Probably...
Yo u need to hurry up on theese video's or im fucked lol
Where is episode 3 explanation??
Doesn’t Garalt tell his mom to look at him, when he was having a dream on the farmers wagon after getting bitten by a ghoul, because he wants her to see his eyes because something went wrong with the mutation? That’s why, in the video series at least, Garalt’s eyes are yellow. I could be wrong though 🤷♂️
No he tells her how they enhance their eyes. There was nothing wrong with his mutantions.
Hate how they deviate from the books/games. Also vesemir is the most experienced witcher, how wouldn't he know how to stop the leshen
Vesemir does know how to kill the leshi. He tells Eskel as much when he's telling the story. The reason why he doesn't kill him is because he wants to save Eskel. that's also why Geralt doesn't kill him right away. he wants to see if he's able to control himself to give them time to help him. when Geralt realizes he can't, that's when he goes in for the kill.
this is really obvious, surprised you missed that.
Please hurry and do an explanation for the rest of the season. Other ppl are trash and ppl keep correcting them in the comments. How are we supposed to know what is right!?
not to bothered about them killing Eskel off. Didnt really like the actor if im being honest
Ya idk if it was the costume or what he just seemed off
So how will yen be able to have kids?
I hate the vocal audio mix in season 2. Combined with slurry speech, it is hard to make out what characters are saying.
4:23 Ran out of budget? For contact lenses?
I guess so lol
Is it just me or this episode is just badly written? The deathless mother storyline has a lot of build-up, but it leads to no payoff. Like okay... frangilia and elf are told to work together (in pretty vague language, filled with random rhetorical nonsense). yen lost her power.... okay... why? (depletion of chaos during the fight?... it's more confusing since frangilia probably used dimeritium on her like she used on their teacher) and why did the deathless mother do those things to them?... Again, the build up just lead to some random stuff. The whole deathless mother story line just feels like a plot device so that yen lose her power and that elf work with frangila. Just a bad plot device with no interest climax.
I hate the other guy is like mocking the voice of Witcher
I don’t watch the show bc it’s too confusing for me so instead I watch your recaps of it and it’s a good enough substitute lol. GOT will be next
Is dandelion not in the books because I really don’t enjoy this bard and his cringe song
Was the comment about Francesca’s actress really necessary?? Why do actresses always have to be hot for the fanboys when she’s pretty and can act lmao
She is pretty but she literally described as the most beautiful woman in the world in the book in the show they have yet to use that moniker so it may not be in the show
Next episodes are all over the place. Jellyjugz will have a hard time trying to make sense of those.
Nah .I know s02 is not even an adaptation of BOE.. S02 felt like a fan fiction. But it's not all over the place.. Anyone can understand the storyline..lol . It all make sense.. because storyline is not complicated..
@@TD-xo4tg yea at first I kinda like the season but the more and more I think about it , the writing/story was pretty bad this season. Only saving grace was Geralt and Ciri
If you know about the writers of this show, you would realise why they show all men as bad. They are misandrists.
Hey man, I came here for an explanation about the shoe could you please stop with revealing spoilers from the book, some of us are planning on reading them.
I really wish you wouldn't have spoiled how yen will have a baby... and I wish you would quit saying what IS in the book, it's kind of confusing when we came for info about the show ONLY
