    Grand idea. Just out of curiosity, Why is it necessary to deburr before drilling the 2" hole?

      THANK YOU so much @guzzialfa I would at least deburr the side laying down on the drill press work table so it is flat when cutting the 2" hole. Just as easy to do both sides at once.

    My car suspension couldn't handle all of that weight. When I am in the field with my CG4 mount I usually just have one 10 pound weight for my 4 inch refractor so don't need a caddy. My Polarie photography mount has 2 pound weights so no problem there. Even if I use my 9.25" SCT on my AVX mount I might only have two 10 pound weights. I usually only use one of the telescopes each observing session. Just putting the weights on the floor works for me.
