Optical Testing an Astro-Physics 175 f/8 Starfire EDF using Double-Pass Ronchi Testing - aka DPAC

Thanks for the video and expert commentary. I’d also be curious to read up on any references Jeff might have in his testing. I’m wondering about the mirror and the grating (where they might be obtained - I’m overseas in Australia ). It would be great to get Jeff’s experience and those steps down on a doc that I could print. Thanks again for the effort and the thought of doing the video

This telescope is superb optically and mechanically. However I ran the price per inch test, otherwise known as the money left in my wallet test on this telescope and it failed me miserably as after looking into purchasing one my financial advisor said I would need a second mortgage to fund it.
Then again also you might need a gym membership and bench weights periodically to keep in shape to be able to lift it and use it as you get older.
But you can still dream of having one someday and still enjoy videos such as this one.
