    Is it possible to buy an extra kick tower and plug it in to the console for a cheaper price than a double kick pedal? I don't want to sacrifice my high hat pedal

    Hello, I’m trying to buy an amp for Yamaha DTX452K, but my question is, can I use an Alesis Strike 8 for it?

    • @bettermusic
      @bettermusic  Před 3 lety

      Absolutely! Drum amps have a different freq range it covers compared to a traditional amp or PA system. If it's designed for electronic drums it'll work a treat :)

    Can you use a drum brush on the snare if you wanted to play in a jazz style? Will the electronic pad pick up something as subtle as a brush?

    • @richardfantin3646
      @richardfantin3646 Před 3 lety +2

      Even if it did pick it up, youd get the sampled soft snare drum sound instead of the acoustic brush sound youre expecting.

      @@drumfansbeginnerdrummer2048 I'm having the same problem. I recorded my fist couple of covers no problem. Then one day they were completely out of sync. Think it may have something to do with the file type. I was using different websites to download mp3 files off CZcams videos, and apparently some of them cause this issue, while others don't... Will have to do some testing.

  • @twistedbunny
    @twistedbunny Před 2 lety

    Are you supposed to be hitting them that hard? lol idk, i'm the type to take such stuff in a fragile way but we all have our own preferences
    Saw someone ask whether they can register a brush stroke, and while i can't talk on that since i don't have one, i can tell you that it uses something called a piezzo, may have gotten the spelling wrong but it basically lies under the heads and senses the amount of pressure applied and in turn registers that as a voltage and sends this to the module for interpretation and stuff
    Piezzos go for around $1.00
