Sounded like the way you make me feel in the beginning
Great review. Clear and concise. I'm looking at buying the 452 for my 6-year-old son to learn.
great review. very helpful. thx dude
Awesome!
I literally just bought the 402 for my daughter's boyfriend for Christmas, thanks for your great n informative review, glad I chose an excellent beginner kit..
Why am I not that lucky boyfriend? :/
Damn...
Nice sound
You started the video ith Hold the Line...jaajaj. great video, thanks
THE DUDE ABIDES!!!
Go on, girl!
great drumming, just bought the 432k on watching this .
is the hihat still working fine?
Great overview. Easy to fold up when not in use?
I played the dtx450k for 3 years. Apart from having to replace the hihat controller absolutely nothing went wrong with it.
Was the song you played to at the start of the video "Black Velvet"?
Can you control other instruments not only computers ( via USB) since this drum kit doesn't have midi ?
I just got one, can you recommend the specs of the amp that would go well with this? Thanks!
People are bashing this drum but to me the sounds sound amazing like Yamaha actually put effort into it I won't buy it but can't wait till they make a new 5 series drums it'll sound even more amazing
Is it possible to buy an extra kick tower and plug it in to the console for a cheaper price than a double kick pedal? I don't want to sacrifice my high hat pedal
Well presented video. Just a thought - is there any recording facility straight to USB / SD card available on the top model? Also, can we import samples?
USB to host..?
Hi there! I have DTX452K. How to configure snare for left hand? Now rim click is for the right hand and I can't play it as left hand
How can i set that snare sound?
Is it better than the roland td1 dmk ?
The first kit is Phil Collins drums
Hi how quiet is it without the amp?
3:57 LOL!
"Cherish"...that's what that opening beat sounded like. Madonna's song, you know. ;-)
It's meant to be 'The Way You Make Me Feel', but I guess it could be the start to a heap of songs.
i knew for sure it was something MJ ahahahahahahah
That bass drum sound is exactly the same as my DD-20 I got in 2007
Hello, I’m trying to buy an amp for Yamaha DTX452K, but my question is, can I use an Alesis Strike 8 for it?
Absolutely! Drum amps have a different freq range it covers compared to a traditional amp or PA system. If it's designed for electronic drums it'll work a treat :)
Ride chokeable?
I'm a little confused by what you meant with Yamaha will include the drumsticks and headphones and stool I didn't get any of that with my 452
Haha
mee too >:V
Some stores give out freebies
Like sticks, throne and some comes with double pedal for free
Theres a bundle version that comes with the extras.
Can you use a drum brush on the snare if you wanted to play in a jazz style? Will the electronic pad pick up something as subtle as a brush?
Even if it did pick it up, youd get the sampled soft snare drum sound instead of the acoustic brush sound youre expecting.
What I still dont get. Is the speaker included (inside the machine) or do you need to connect an external speaker?
Sorry for the late reply, but you would have to have a speaker, or headphones
Is that Michael Jackson that you played at the beginning of the video? It's sounds similar
what would u do btw this one and Roland dm1-DMK?
Buy Roland if you are rich. otherwise, these Yamahas are good.
Rolands better
Is this a dual zone drum?
Snare has 3 zone, crash 2 zone, ride 2 zone
Does anyone know what kind of sticks James is using in this video?
Drum
can you expand the kit to add one more cymbal pad?
Yes, if you have the kick tower the extra cymbal pad connects to it
@@loukreu Hey, i was about to try this. But i'm wondering if the app itself will recongnize the extra pad so i can change the sample?
can anyone help im having an issue with recording in rec n share...me playing and the music are not in sync, music is delayed 🤣
I tried that app no problem. Used it on iPhone and I bought good cables and lightning adapter
@@drumfansbeginnerdrummer2048 i guess got to use apple then 🤷🏽♂️ thanks tho
@@guioaca7 🔥and do not buy cheap cable because it can be not working!
❗️Also if you want I can make review about this or other app for Yamaha dtx452 k 😉
@@drumfansbeginnerdrummer2048 I'm having the same problem. I recorded my fist couple of covers no problem. Then one day they were completely out of sync. Think it may have something to do with the file type. I was using different websites to download mp3 files off CZcams videos, and apparently some of them cause this issue, while others don't... Will have to do some testing.
Can you upgrade the snare in 402 version?
yes, the 402 is literally the same hardware as 452 and can buy any 452 stuff for it.
Yes
Are you supposed to be hitting them that hard? lol idk, i'm the type to take such stuff in a fragile way but we all have our own preferences
Saw someone ask whether they can register a brush stroke, and while i can't talk on that since i don't have one, i can tell you that it uses something called a piezzo, may have gotten the spelling wrong but it basically lies under the heads and senses the amount of pressure applied and in turn registers that as a voltage and sends this to the module for interpretation and stuff
Piezzos go for around $1.00
The edrum world stins. No advances. Same old fashioned sounds. We want less sounds but REAL sounds.
