Whenever i try to use the dtx402 app on my dtx402k, it aske me to update and i press the following buttons that they ask. The thing is, i dont know if it is acutally updating or not. It just keeps flashing but nothing else. I waited for about 30mins and still nothing and i stopped it. Do i need to connect it to my PC or just the phone and does it need to be connected the whole time and am i doing something wrong? Please help!

This is not the DTX402, it is most likely the DTX452 (It has the upgraded kick). Not a huge difference but enough.

@@CptSlow89 Thanks, but could you explain further? Are you saying that they are (JUST) OK by themselves? I've heard of EZDrummer but what I remember about it is - connecting EZDrummer is a bit complicated (???) Help! PS: I've had a Yamaha DTXpress III that I bought new in 2004. I believe EZDrummer would (should) work just as well. Whenever I've checked eBay for electronic drums I find almost nothing! I used to find tons of used stuff. What happened?

If you get the 452k then yes. The 402k and 432k don't have 3 zone snares.

Love these but all these at home kits are made for ants. I sort of miss the old rack systems from the kits a few years back you could adjust more so if you're taller you don't feel like you're in a phone booth.

Compared to DTXplorer this is inferior product in every single way. We are quite dissapointed. We dont recommend it.
