Meanwhile, host countries are beginning to feel the burden of giving support and help while at the same grappling with the effects of a worldwide economic crises. It is a very sad story that we can only watch from afar.

My question is if they are “humanitarians” why don’t they provide help; water, food and medical if needed and take them back to shore. These are desperate people.The more, conflict, food source problems, climate extreme, the more these people will try to find ways of escaping it. Shaking our heads isn't going to stop this turning into a tidal wave of humanity. Worse is to come.
