That ain't no modular motor brother. You have a ton of subscribers. Someone could easily do a head gasket in that car, in an afternoon. Have the coolant drained, and the intake and carb off in 10 minutes. Headers and rockers and pushrods in another 20 minutes. SBF are easy to work on, especially in an engine bay that big. I totally understand, if you don't have time, but I'd be willing to bet, someone you know would be willing to do it for the cheap. I'd offer but I live, clear up in Tampa.
Couple 9333pt1 gaskets, 1262s3 intake this go around and get that 9…. Foxbody guys: “Nothing is over! You just dont turn it off!” 😂 but for this channel it served its purpose and how much revenue is really left in fixing it vs putting a chunk towards getting hushmoney right

Hay there could be no water or anti-freeze in the block that’s why it’s blowing out the over flow . And your suppose to have the over flow tank just as high as the radiator cap

What rad cap do you have? I had some cheap fox radiator and it came with a 8lb cap.

Head gasket all day. Old 4 bolts per cylinder Windsor heads with years of use…Blew more than one dialing in my A-trim vortech back in my youth.

Do the head gaskets it's seriously easy on SBF. It probably has composite gaskets on it which is why it let go.
I have 0 time to wrench on this thing. So it can go unless I find someone local willing to do them.
@@YDBT4LIFE I feel you. I was pushing you to fix yours because I'm genuinely curious what it'll run and because I have a almost identical build except it's a cammed LS6 swap instead of a SBF. But it has the same setup, Carb/Nitrous,and being just a very basic build. It sat for 3 years before I got after it and I'm still working on it, so I understand the no time thing lol. It needs trans cooler, trans lines, some coolant plumbing, tuning and hopefully no head lifting testing. I'll make a video and post my build, show my AFR, timing, shot size, and track times as well. Then I'll switch it over to a terminator X and see if it picks up or looses power/track times.

I'd fix it. Headgaskets are easy to do on a SBF. Way easier than on a Mod Motor/ Coyote.

I dont want to see the notch go, but i get it. Between the GT500 motor, the Fairmont chasis work, you don't need yet another chunk of change leaving the bank account and a 4th car being down.
It’s honestly probably a 3-4 hour job. Especially with power tools. New head gaskets, some copper spray and spray the nitrous again
Id personally like to see the fox goals completed. Head gasket job only is a couple hours . But I’m old and like the old foxbody content.

Who knows how old the build was. Upping the cylinder pressure did it in. I hoped he backed the timing off a bit. It should have been ok on race fuel and the air fuel looked ok in the 12s.
Don’t sell it. Shouldn’t take too long at all, don’t even have to pull motor or mess with timing cover. Especially with it being carb, it’s even easier.
It sounds like the rpm fell way back on the 3-4 shift and with the nitrous on, and it falling back down into peak torque it definitely will push the head gasket
