I worked at McDonald’s in the 90’s and when we needed a computer upgrades they’d send out a tech from Panasonic to do it but a manager would have to stay overnight with them. While we we’re waiting on stuff to finish on the one system he would teach me excel on the other. He seemed happy to teach someone who was willing to learn. I think that’s why I subscribed to you.

When you are creating this stunning charts or dashboards, how do you decide which techniques to use?
I want to start my own Excel Business and have the fear that I create files for my costumers that won't work because I use features they don't have in their excel version.
Do you have a list of the features each excel version introduced?
Remembering all the features and when they got implemented feels overwhelming.
For example: The new array functions in 365 (like FILTER, SORT).
It's awesome to use them, but most people are not using 365 right now.

Not sure what you mean by recover. But you can go to File > Open and click on "recover unsaved workbooks" to try.
@Chandoo Hi. Could you please help me in executing a result. The scenario is as follows: My data in a row contain terms like x, x, 2x, 5x, y, 4y, 5y, etc. The desired result adjacent to these cells should come the algebraic sum of these values like 9x+10y. Much appreciated for the help.
Interesting problem. If your variable names are simple enough (ie if you have x as a variable, then you don't have xx or mx as another variable), then you can try below formula (works for up to 3 variables x,y,z)
Your data is in A1:A10.
=SUM(IFERROR(SUBSTITUTE(A1:A10,"x","")+0,0))&"x+"&SUM(IFERROR(SUBSTITUTE(A1:A10,"y","")+0,0))&"y+"&SUM(IFERROR(SUBSTITUTE(A1:A10,"z","")+0,0))&"z"
You can adjust the formula to handle negatives or other odd situations.
if x, x, 2x, 5x, y, 4y, 5y is available in single cell, then

Hello...when I am refreshing the data and it takes less than 1sec(0:0secs)if I take average of this time with greater than 30% then avg time shows 0.1sec however my client wants that secs data to be shown on trend line... How can we show the secs data on trend line Please help me with this...

Not sure if I understand your question right. But you can have seconds as Y value and create a trend line with Excel graphs.
I have a different question. My data values are showing in 1B, 1M, 1k etc. How can I convert to normal number. Values are in text.

In my book they are same. Not sure what roadmap you are referring to, or what "python I" is or what your complaint even is?
