  • Do more expensive winter motorcycle gloves mean better quality and warmer hands? Not always, I traded my expensive pair for some inexpensive motorcycle gloves from Rock Biker and I was thoroughly impressed! 3M Thinsulate is thin for a better feel on the controls while maintaining warmth of your hands. Touch screen design, superior knuckle protection, water proof and they strap down around your jacket sleeves for a superior fit.

Over 20 years ago I bought a nice new pair of thick leather gauntlet gloves which were a big disappointment. I switched to my snow ski gloves with the leather palm, nylon exterior and thick thinsulate which were less than half the price of the leather gloves. The ski gloves were designed to grip the ski poles with a natural curve which worked perfectly on my bike's grips. Guess what! I still use the same pair of ski gloves on my bike today and I gave the leather gauntlet gloves away to a friend. You're right, you don't always get what you pay for, sometimes you get a whole lot more.

Went to my local Harley dealer looking for gloves. I just couldn't see spending $100 and up just because they have HD (hundred dollar) on them. I went to Academy sports to get some thermals and saw a pair of fleece lined Magellan gloves for $10. I bought the Magellans for shits and giggles. Let me tell you, those are the best investment I've made for keeping my hands warm while riding. No air gets through and they're not overly bulky. Ive still got great dexterity and control for what I need while riding. I love all things Harley, but I'm not spending money needlessly when I don't have to.

I had ordered a pair from this manufacture and they came too small I said I wanted a larger pair this was from Amazon they sent me the same pair so those two I sent back so this time I went with extra large so we’ll see how they fit what I like about these I can determine the size of the gauntlet. The other pair from the same manufacture you could not and they would not fit well over the cuff of my leather jacket I guess we’ll see in a few days now if the road clears and the snow leaves in the ice is gone I will give Them a try out.

I get it, you stay warm in snowmobile gloves. What about a crash. Yes, there is that. Hard to beat deer skin gloves with rabbit lining and can get the water proof varity.

If you're going to review a product people want to hear the Positive And the Negative. All you did was sound like a commercial with no negative comment about the glove. Been riding since the 80s and have not found any gloves that are perfect, so I'm sure there are some down side to those cheap gloves. Let's hear them. Don't waste my time with a commercial because they sent you a pair of gloves.
