When talking about "winter", is it a London with + 2C to 10C, type of winter or is it Norway -10C to -15C type of winter?
Alpinestars Denali Aerogel is my fav for winter. What I'm having trouble finding is a glove that isn't geared toward summer or winter but in-between temps. So warmer than just leather, something with a light amount of lining.
Some really nice gloves on offer. I’d personally recommend the RST Pro Series Paragon 6 Heated Gloves- they have their own battery, which can be recharged.
I don’t want something that has to be wired in, and I don’t trust my bike battery, so they’re ideal.
How are they holding up? I'll look into em
I'm using macna unite heated gloves as I like the simple thinner feeling compared to my gerbing, I brought the harness to run through my coat and they plug and work with the gerbing battery connection no problems, they are not as hot as gerbing but still plenty warm enough for zero UK condition, also the quality is actually quite nice for the price, I'm using them with a rukka kalix 2 jacket and they fit under cuffs very easily and comfortable 😊
Thank you for sharing :)
Went to purchase some new gloves with Gortex.... Was told not to buy them, as I have heated grips. Once the Gortex gets hot, it opens the material and will leak once rained on.... Didn't mention that on the glove's advert!
I've ridden snowmobiles since I was a child and never had any issues with heated Gortex. Snowmobile grips run hot. Also, there should be an inner liner in the glove that prevents leakage. If you have to pull your gloves so they're snug, you probably ripped that liner.
Try the Richa Warm Grip GTX, specially made for warm grips. It’s a leather glove with a laminated Gore-Tex membrane. Bonded to the inner side of the leather, it’s a glove that will never wet out, so even in the heaviest rain your hands will stay dry. Now because the membrane is bonded and because there’s no insulation on the palm, the heat generated by the grips will transfer to the hand with maximum efficiency. But to ensure that the whole hand stays warm, the back of the hand is insulated with Primaloft.
Thank you. I've not owned any Gortex gloves.... As mentioned, I was advised not to buy them, as the Gortex opens up when heated (apparently). Then they take ages to dry out.... This is what an employee said at Sportsbikeshop. She said her advice is based on feedback from customers.
What's the Brown leather jacket being worn ?
Is there any way to give an idea of finger length. It varies so much between manufacturers and ranges and there's nothing worse than a ridiculous half inch of empty thumb when you're trying to indicate.
Good point. Hand size means nothing without finger length
What about a Vegan option?
Not really sure a vegan option would do you much good in a slide.
@@GO-fd6rmsurely someone must do something with a Kevlar lining?
LOL 🫵🤣
Has to be one
It's called the Mc Plant. Can get it solo or as a meal with fries and a drink.
I'd go for Knox everything else available is shit and if massive tip just get rid of those bar end mirrors and put the Oxford mitts on sorted 😂
Very very expensive
