Finally came back to H-mart to try out their legendary Korean dumpling section. While I was there I found some strange flavors. Also went ahead and got some noodles too, because dumplings and noodles just go great together.

I like this channel because you get honest reviews of the food. Some channels, won't name them, will tell you everything is good even if they don't like it. Mikey will at least not highlight the business/food if he hates it.

Those Korean bibigo Mandu dumplings he passed are so good, so far I've had ones that were pork and corn and I have ones in my freezer that are beef and vegetables, if you see them at an Asian market I recommend trying them! They also have ones that are spicy🔥

i’m korean and my favourite dumplings are “duru duru mandu” you can steam fry whatever but i put them in bowls filled with water into the microwave for a few minutes i find it’s the most convient for me and super yummy

I loooove my local HMart!!! Thank you, Mikey, for being responsible/showing responsibility in all of your PPE! Now, I gotta go heat up some pork mandu...from Korea's number one brand!! LOL!! (You shop like I do there...I might as well just extend my arm and go down the aisles letting everything fall into my cart! LOL!! My husband is more reserved and annoys me when he's like "Isn't that enough?" Um...no! I've learned to go alone to my precious HMart...that also has a Paris Baguette inside!!! Be still, my heart!) Ok, one more thing...we just bought a deep freeze last weekend....to fill with dumplings, mandu, etc! I feel your pain pre-deep freeze!
As a high risk person who's often just too affraid to go shopping because of people who think they know better than medical professionals, I really want to thank you for being so safe while inside the store!
I understand it's uncomfortable and a hassle, but that way people like me at least don't have to fear for our lives just to do essential shopping. Thank you!

for your dumplings in airfryer, Some say spray them with oil. I actually take a bit of water and put olive oil in it, and put the dumplings in it make sure well wet and a bit oiled and then cook. Perfect to me. That way the shells don't dry out. For Spring rolls just put them in no oil or anything needed they come out light and perfectly crispy.
Im gonna try this...Im never happy with air fried dumplings oiled or not.
Lol when I found he did actually buy the broccoli dumplings I yelled out “I knew it!!!” Haha gotta try something before you knock it down. I definitely want to do my own dumpling run to H Mart now!

could you try some dumplings and noodles at places like Walmart, Costco, or smiths? Where I live, they don't have any h-marts, Korean, or Chinese stores. But I love dumplings so much and I don't know where to get them! XD. Keep up the amazing work! When I see your videos they always brighten up my day!
i've tried the bibigo dumplings from costco, and they're pretty good for just heating them up in the microwave!
Trader Joe’s has Dumplings, Soup Dumpling....Pork or Chcken...both were good...not bad...
If you have a dim sum, authentic Chinese restaurant or variety buffet they always have them!
I would love to see you review your favorite brands of kimchi and all the ways you can eat it.

Love this review! There is a H-Mart within walking distance from my place, and I really enjoy going there. I'm trying to cut back on my sodium intake, so no pre-prepared frozen dumplings, but I really love their meat selection! Especially the baby back pork spare rib chain

Huge long time fan Mike! As a Korean, just wanted to point out that the cucumber dumplings are packaged as "물만두" which means they're primarily for BOILING not frying :) also, thanks for keeping me sane while being stuck in lockdown!
I bought some giant bag of dumplings from Hmart this weekend. None of the instructions said to fry but they were better fried.

Thanks for comprehensive review. There's an H-Mart that's a 5-minute walk from our house. I've been randomly selecting dumplings from what seems like an endless inventory. They aren't limited to Korean style dumplings, there's plenty of Chinese style too. I know exactly how you feel.

I never thought to air fry my dumplings! I will give it a try next time, I usually stick to pan-frying with the oil/ water method to steam tops and fry the bottoms.

This makes me so happy. I grew up in Lynnwood and my karate dojo was across the parking lot from that H Mart so I spent a lot of time there. I’ve since moved away and haven’t been back in awhile but it’s so nice to see my favorite place.

Kimchi dumplings sound amazing. I developed a weird love for kimchi years ago that my family just does not understand. I wanted to hug the guy in Safeway when he found me the last jar of the stuff on the shelf, since I had no idea where it was kept, and I couldn't have reached it anyway. Planning on adding some to my tomato soup shortly, I love it like that.
