My respect for Sage went up dramatically for his humble answer. He can sometimes be awkwardly too nice, but he's a good kid with a good heart. He's got the brawn and athleticism. He just needs his fighting IQ to rise in order to be a real contender and genuine prospect. Hopefully we'l see that soon.

***** no need to get emotional. Sage needs work on standup as well in my opinion. He has all the tools but doesn't use them them well. He kind of just bull rushes in with strikes. There's a reason why someone with as sloppy standup as Mickey Gall was able to drop Sage. The reason why I think Thompson is a better fit is because Thompson is the perfect example of a guy who maximizes the use of a point karate background.

It wasn't a fair fight, Silva is a middleweight while DC is a light heavyweight.
Silva probably walks around 200 lbs but DC is like near 250 lbs, which is the sole reason why he missed weight so often.

I think it's more awkward to pretend to hate each other just to hype the fight for 12 year olds (AKA McGregor vs Diaz). Much prefer fighters showing that they can separate their emotions and destroy anyone in the octagon, even a friend.

So what I've learned after being in the position of having a great money-making opportunity while still in university is I should've delayed school like what Sage did. Instead I did school and regret it now b/c school will truly always be there.
