I know how you feel because the first time I listened to this track I cried. I remember later I searched on SM to see if his D12 bros reacted to it. They agreed that they were hurt that he felt D12 was over but that Em never used them and that they were grateful for what he did for them, so they didn't understand why he felt guilty. Though Bizz said that the only time they felt really stranded was the time Em was depressed and on the worst of his addiction but they never hold it against him, although he wasn't surprised if Em blamed himself for shit that wasn't his fault because he always was super hard on himself.

Yea it wasn't Eminem's fault fans (for the most part) always saw D12 as his group and not a union of rappers. He did everything he could but Proof died and Em was in the worst time of his depression and addiction around the same time and he couldn't be there for them and I think that even if D12 did make a new album, new fans (who aren't og D12 fans) would still think it's Eminems group which is sad because they were all so good.
I'm a tough guy, I don't break very easy. But the very first time I heard "but D12 is over" I cried. That group has helped me through so many dark times in my childhood. And I've always hoped for them to get back together. I don't think Deshaun would have wanted them to fall apart. They survived when carnell died. *I apologize if I spelled his name wrong*
@@GhostWatcher2024 the last song they ever did together is "Hit me with your Best shot" it was supposed to be on recovery, but it got pulled last second. Not many people know about it. I want Cliff to react to it, but I'm sure nobody else is recommending it, since they don't know about it.

Also, I know people have a gripe with his singing on hooks, but he's been doing it since the SSLP and he's only gotten better imo. When he puts this much emotion behind it, I don't care, it works.

This one gets me. He husband died very suddenly, tragically. His group was solid since he was born, brothers to me since we were teens, godfathers to our kids. When he died, everyone fell. The guys felt seeing and and the kids grieve was too hard for them (try living it), so they avoided us because it was painful. Trying to grieve my world shattered and get the kids through hell, while suddenly I learned when it counted that strong support was an illusion. I'm still shocked I'm still standing because I was so ready to join him, never knowing life without him, but I knew he was counting on me to do what he couldn't do for our babies. He never let me down so I couldn't let him down, holding on with all I have. Still feel guilty living what was stolen from him. A death like than can change everything you know. Em explained it well, as always.
