"Lethal injection, go to sleep six feet deep
I'll give you a B for the effort, but if I was three

I feel like another thing that I heard some people complain about is that Eminem called MGK a mumble rapper when he isn’t and I think some people don’t get that line and idk if I’m reading too much, but this is what I got from it. It’s no secret that Em hates mumble rappers and doesn’t really have respect for them. So him calling MGK one of the things that he hates is showing how little respect he has for him as an artist and being called a mumble rapper by a true mc is probably one of the highest disrespect’s one can get. So I think the aim of that line was to offend him and it worked. Because in the interview MGK did after Killshot he addressed that line and had a look of offense. That line wasn’t a mistake and was a good dis to MGK.

It’s crazy how much this aged since it was released 4 years ago. Many of the lines that were pointed basically came to fruition from PAC’s killer being orchestrated by Diddy to how MGK released a mumble rap album that sold poorly that basically marked the end of his rap career. Additionally, some of these lines show so much depth into detail that the fact this was written with 13 minutes to be exact and then dropped on the day Patrick Swayze passed is just pure insanity. Eminem will be forever known as a man with a reputation to mail people in the forehead without fail. MGK already lost the second he even started the beef.

Okay, there's a level of diss here that almost EVERYONE misses unless they've been involved with or lived on the periphery of the crystal meth scene, as Em did for much of his early life. What's more "poor white trailer trash" than meth abuse? It also often goes hand in hand with the opiate scene. IMO, a lot of his lines are playing at MGK's history as a meth dealer: the toothpick line (MGK is visibly identifiable as a tweaker), the cereal line (food is harder to chew and eat when you're tweaking, so tweakers lean heavily to cereals because they're easier to eat and the sweetness is a lot more palatable.) The "hold steel/still" line? Tweakers are notoriously twitchy motherfuckers that can't hold still... or hit a target to save their lives. 100%, Em's low-key calling MGK a fucking tweaker!

Neither of us knows the man or what he was thinking when he wrote those lines. What I can say is that it was obvious to me. The Lox referring to the group, the locks referring to his lock on the game, the locks referring to his hair no longer being blonde. "Give Jade a kiss" he says this at 2:17 in the track which has obvious on the surface references to Jadakiss being in The Lox, Jade being his daughter's middle name, but also Jadakiss's album called Kiss of Death (makes the kissing noise) which is what he's doing to MGK. But even more insane is that he says this at 2:17 when Kiss of Death is Jadakiss's second album (2) and the 17th (17) track on there is self titled "Kiss of Death" hence the 2:17 timing. Mind blowing.

This song is so complex that it's crazy. Some reactors said that it was not really a killshot and I was losing my mind, on how? This song is more complex than MGK's entire discography. Just a couple of things that has not been mentioned in this reaction or was not clear to me 100%.
    - The video on Insta of Em playing pac-man. It was released on an anniversary of a Tupac diss if I'm not mistaken, forshadowing what is going to happen, which is already crazy, but Killshot was released on september 14, which is the anniversary of Patrick Swayze's death, another reference of MGK being made a ghost. Just in pre-release Em had these crazy stuff, just with that he already killed MGK.
-Rihanna line, "compliment me on the next", as far as I am aware, hickeys are also called compliments on the neck.
    - That Tupac line, it's so multi layered. The day MGK put out a hit (song) is when Diddy admits. Implying MGK will never put out a hit because there is no way in hell or heaven Diddy admits to that, but at the same time Em implies what Diddy did it, just won't admit to, which is an absolutely brutal, gut wrenching blow in my book.
-Lil Tay was an internet persona, became famous for being an unbearable, shitty little brat with money, uploading shitty, whiny videos. That has to burn.
    - If what you said in your Rap Devil reaction, that MGK might have had help in his 4th verse has any merit to it, or if it even exists as a rumour, than the Phone Bill line is another heartless turn of the knife in MGK's heart, because his phone bills run up due to recruiting aid on the phone. He said he is running up on Em, like his phone bills for help. Jesus Christ, the implications of that. And for most people, I'd say that's a coincidence. For Em though? He proved he has an insanely complex mind and bearing in mind how deeply Em is connected to the music industry, if there is any rumour about that, we have to think that it was intentional in there.
Anyway, awesome reaction as always, you are such a treat to watch every. single. time. I'm glad I met your channel in the recommendations some time ago, best content I consumed here in ages. Keep up the good work, you are much appreciated = ))

From what I have heard, in Detroit being called a goof is the same as calling someone a child molester/pedophile

Em was very kind to not even mention MGK’s Plastic surgery
Em went easy on him and still killed him. Now he’s had to quit rap and become a pop star with a paid escort tabloid girlfriend.

You are definitely the leading authority on rap among the channels I’ve come across, just a bit of research convinced me of that. Looking forward to expanding what I listen to.

Fun fact, a theory suggests that Eminem named the track “kill shot” after the movie kill shot about a hit man that tries to kill a guy named Colson, mgk’s name is colson.

Em in this song sits in off beat pockets to make a percussion from him rapping to make the song even better sounding, who does that, NO ONE DOES OTHER THAN EM

I think I've seen like 6 reactions to this before seeing your video, I keep on coming back to this song when I feel bad, after listening to this track, I don't feel as bad anymore, life could be a lot worse.

A lot of people don't realize how hard the swayze line hits either. He dropped this song on Sep. 14th. The nine year anniversary of Patrick swayze's death date.

I'm surprised that a lot of reactions don't catch the line, " to spend the whole day just to dig your own grave" because it's a reference to mgk having a shovel over his shoulder in the rap devil video! He had a shovel in the video and therefore dug his own grave making the song and video!!!

I like ur reaction style. I prefer reactions with pauses. It’s the only way to ensure u break it all down. If u wait till the end u can’t remember it all in one shot.
