Its bullshit that they patch this. Its called the sims for a reason and theres death in the game. This implies that you should be allowed to kill anyone. Real lifes a bit like this too, sure theres laws to try and prevent murder but it still happens, its a part of life.
@@goldenfox334 I mean, the fact that sims can't just leave the pool without a ladder is kind of dumb though. So I can see why they would patch that. Considering that the sims 4 has death by laughter, I don't think that they are trying to prevent death overall.

One time I thought it'd a neat idea to make a cemetery for my sims area and have a caretaker look over it, there'd be flowers to water routinely and everything. Only problem was that the only way to make the graveyard was to murder about a hundred or so sims. Trust me, after the first few batches of 8 you just start testing new things. Fire inside a confined area was the best if I remember correctly. The end result of course wasn't a idyllic cemetery that my caretaker would be able to tend in his off hours but quite possibly the most horrifying area ever created in the sims due to the fact that it was haunted by about a hundred or so ghosts. Whoever lived there would be harassed by ghosts during the night and would never be able to sleep or do anything productive during the day because of the sleep deprivation. I also vastly overestimated the ability of a sim to actually water the flowers as well so the cemetery quickly fell into disrepair.
Fun times.

I think it's amazing how you take a game and use its own rules against it. It's technically not an exploit and technically not cheating since you are actually playing by the rules you just use "loopholes" to achieve the goal that you're aiming for. You should try doing something similar with GTA V I'd love to see that.

I used to do this same thing on sims 1 and 2 but then my brother would get mad that i had married and murdered the entire town as we shared the same computer and played in the same town

In sims 3. Join university (if you have the University expansion) then join the sorority. Then place the expensive cars on that lot into your inventory. Sell them. Drop out of university. Now you've essentially started the game with 60k

Fun fact: Duloc used to be 10 times bigger, but after Farquad found the place he started to move in to residences located near city walls, drowning those who lived in there, used the bricks of the houses to erect and expand his house in the middle into towery castle and kept moving the city walls inwards and inwards until he had the Duloc we saw in Shrek.
And this is exactly what my sims 4 self's first son went & did after graduating university, went through every house there was (save for sims i created), made them meet their rather "accidental & tragic" demise, sold the house & everything within it when moving onto the next place after making friends with one of the occupants, even the celebrities. Made a nice amount of simoleans from it, then in the end, moved into my place after he was done with it. Though he occasionally visits other homes, where the occupants have the same "accidental" ends. He has done this to quite a few, to put it lightly.

huh strange. I thought that was the basic idea of how to play too. I once had a family that lived on an island, and the parents went to a party. the teenager was all alone, and every time he got on the boat to go home after school, we would stop the boat and start doing homework. the police would then take him home after him being up past his curfew, and his parents never came home from the party, as they were busy doing other things every time I told them to go home.
Its definitely the way I used to play Sims 1.

Technically, entering build mode to change the environment of an active gameplay mechanic, is considered an exploit. The black widow gold digger challenge is the most overpowered route to earn a million simoleons. . It could actually be a speed run at this point.

I do have Get Together for the Sims 4. You should try it as creating a group solves all my problems. If I need money, I create a group for people to go home and paint. When they leave, I sell their work. If something breaks, I create a group to repair. If hungry, a group to cook... So other sims are doing the boring stuff while I do whatever I want.

Last time I played Sims, I was playing multiplayer. My friend and I played as roommates, and we decided on what NPC each of us would go after for a relationship. Well he purposefully slept with my Sim's girlfriend to see if he could, then he did it repeatedly just for the hell of it. He was surprised and angry when I burned the house down.

Have you ever considered adding windows to the iron towers? Gives a good window to see through. You could even have farquad paint a 'still life' (neither are true) of the families treading water in their final moments.
