wiwibloggs because my country really wants to win, it will make bulgarian people so happy, I am proud of BNT i can see how much effort they put to win this, I hope they do it ... We are a poor country I can see, and in really bad period, I see that BNT is trying to bring some happiness to our people I hope they do it because they are putting so much love and hope in every "for me masterpiece songs" I hope europe feel that ...
Why Equinox? Where did the name come from? - Borislav Milanov answered in an interview for BNT:
That wasn’t the first idea for the name - it was something connected to the Fifth Element again. To gather together the five elements with Zhana as the Fifth Element in the middle. In Equinox there is ‘equal’, i.e. ‘equality’, and ‘nox’ is night. The Equinox is the day on which the night and day are equal, when there is peace between the dark and the light, between Good and Evil. And after this day of Equinox, the days get longer. In other words this is the victory over and vanquishing of evil. Likewise, I have to say, as a believer, that Christ was conceived at the Vernal Equinox - at least according to the scriptures. There exactly is the symbolism for me personally. And then again other people, my friends professing other faiths, told me that the Vernal Equinox is a very important day in their cultures. And that’s when I had a moment when I realised that this is a day which unites the whole planet, all peoples and cultures. At the Equinox something happens in all of us and that for me is a highly powerful symbolism.
YESSSSS, Bulgaria only delivers quality songs since 2016!! For now, Bulgaria is my number 2 of the 43, but i'm sure that tomorrow it will be my number 1! And that means... for the third year in a row, Bulgaria is my number 1 of the contest!
Bulgaria proves again that it deserves to win. This my favorite song of the 2018 contest. The 3rd time in a row that Bulgaria is my #1.
This is the only performance that has truly grabbed my attention this year. Rushing to betting office now!!!!!

Bulgaria *MUST WIN* this year! #Sofia2019
Well, I believe Bulgaria deserves the victory. It doesn't mean that they are going to win unfortunately. I think the juries will hurt them as usual. Even last year "Beautiful Mess"was downvoted by more than 110 points from Salvador. I don't think the song was THAT bad to have such a big difference. The televote "corrected" the difference to about 50 points. Still, Kristian was intentionally hurt for nothing and it felt like the juries made sure he didn't win. Really mean, really mean reaction.... This year hey have the most solid entry so far, but I believe they will be taken over by songs like Italy or Belgium. Especially Italy is a HUGE dark horse and of course it's Italy, right? They always get support no matter what they send. :(

Damn this song grows and grows! Really like it now! I agree however with William, it neeeds a good staging and performance! In the past the Bulgarian delegation have done fairly solid stagings, but for this they need to amp it up and do even better! Good luck Bulgaria!

Oh my goodness! I was waiting for a song like this! I only hope it will sound live as good as the studio version!
Finally some positive comments which you can not hear much from our compatriots or the misguided people who think that Israeli bird is a good song. Bulgaria shows for the third year of how much it has been built in musical terms. We have something vocally extremely well made, modern and still touches some of our folk elements at the beginning and especially at the end. We are here to win and prove that a small country like Bulgaria can also be a winner ! I really expect a good performance on stage and I keep my fingers crossed (despite the fact that I live in Germany, this will allow me to support my country in the final) 🇧🇬🤞

I don't see any problem with Americans participating in Equinox (some Bulgarians aren't pleased with that too). The thing is that apparently they're the best that could be found and we also show diversity like this which is a very good thing, especially for a competition like Eurovision.

Цвета Стоянова "love beyond the bones" no metter where you came from, or color you have... music is a universal lenguage, we must be good to each other ... we must feel and see with our soul not only with the eyes to feel real love .... see and feel with your soul ... is the message that i found in this song and its beautiful ... maybe because I am more espiritual

They're right the live performance will be the ultimate test. We've seen it in the past some amazing studio cuts fall flat during the live performances and vice-versa!

Why ‘Bones’ and why the mirror image? - Borislav Milanov:
In the human body there is one single part which always remembers the pain and trauma, which never heals up completely and which always remains marked… the bones are the only part of us which always remain after us… for centuries and millennia… Following this train of thought, the projection of the bones in symbolic terms is as a symbol of the non-material, of slow time… The slow time in which our soul unfolds… Our soul, which is actually God in us… And so, according to this line of thought, the mirror image of the message is the bones as a symbol of incorruptibility, the equivalent of everlasting love, of all loves as one whole, which our soul experiences. To love to perfection, unconditionally and beyond the material…
I really really hope they will get the staging right. I absolutely LOVE the song, this is my favorite so far. But I have to think back to Armenia in 2015. The staging was just meh and it was such a mess on the stage imo. BUT I am definitely sure that Bulgaria will get the stage right. I hope they will do something similar to the music video. Something dark, maybe holograms (with these stars and sparkle stuff), some lightnings (like Kasia Mos 2017 in the national final) and so on. If Bulgaria will do such things, this esc project (u can't call this just a "song" anymore) will be awesome and hopefully wins eurovision!

Well I am from Bulgaria and yeah I really love that song! But the only thing that worries me if they really can synchronise this well like in the studio version. There is a lot of hate going around about the song, hopefully everything will be OK by the time of 8th of May. There can be a disappointment with the number. Will they be able to sing in concert on the stage? A very difficult song is vocal. The studio is chic, no doubt, but remember last year's "Verona" from the Estonian duo. In the studio was a great sound and the voices blended perfectly, and on the stage just a nightmare. And I would not be so sure of the jury by the way. The chances of winning are big, mainly because of the average arithmetic error. I think that Jamala 2016 is an example of such a vote. She became second in both counts and eventually won. Bulgaria may well repeat this: your fan from Russia (with love) 007))
