Fatal Head on Collision-Canyon Country, CA

05/11/2024 11:24 pm | Santa Clarita - Sierra Highway and Sand Canyon Road, city of Canyon Country, CA.
Los Angeles County Fire Department were dispatch to a traffic collision involving two vehicles, a white Toyota Corolla had major damage and one party was pronounced deceased on the passenger side, a black SUV on its side with major damage.
Los Angeles Sheriff’s Deputies arrived on scene to block off the intersection and waited for CHP to arrive and they will handle the incident.
Family members of those who were involved were crying and hugging.
Per CHP log 3392 one of the drivers seemed to be intoxicated and driving at high speeds prior to the collision, one party was transported by ambulance with moderate injuries.
