    Interesting how similar he looks to anubis

    • @EndoScorpion
      @EndoScorpion Před 2 měsíci +32

      Not just looks. But role too.
      Anubis often guided and protected the dead on their journey to the afterlife. Jackals were said to be his and would protect graveyards and such.
      Anubis helped bring back together Osiris body and gave Osiris renewed "life" by performing the funerary ritual. As well as giving up his role as judge of the dead to Osiris.
      He's also connected with Hermes. But so is Thoth; who is also connected to Quetzalcoatl, who is said here to be the "twin brother" of Xolotl.
      Apparently Anubis could shapeshift too, and upon seeing Osiris' dead body was so shocked he turned into a lizard (while Xolotl turns into a axolotl among other things).
      I swear, all mythos (ancient and modern) are connected. Either retelling of the same stories/people, or it's the same people throughout time who go under different names / forms. Sometimes taking the same forms; such as Amun-Ra, Zeus-Ammun, and Satan being goat-headed/goat-horned, and all being connected or said to be the same being (Enlil).

      A lot of mythologies around the world have some kind of Hellhound or Black Dog related to death
      Cerberus, Anubis, Garm, Xolotl, etc...

      @@EndoScorpionThese were deceptive demons that presented themselves as Gods to the ancient civilizations of man. Of course, the forms that these demons would appear to humans would look alike. They are the minions of Satan.

    One derivation of the name 'axolotl' references the Aztec god Xolotl, the god of games who could turn himself into an axolotl to escape his enemies. An axolotl's skeleton is comprised mostly of cartilage. They exhibit neoteny, meaning they retain juvenile characteristics into adulthood.

      @@corporateturtle6005no, Set is not asociated with the dead. You are confusing Set with Anubis, Anubis is the one with a dog head and is a son of Osiris (sometimes he is the son of Set himself).

    Why do so many cultures have dog/dogman beings associated with death, afterlife or under world?

    • @icarusunited
      @icarusunited Před 2 hodinami

      Same reason as the terms "dog days", "Dogged", "Doggard", and so on.
      In olden times, your dog may live as long as you do, and you see him age and transform faster than you do.

  • @BabaMakhanya
    @BabaMakhanya Před 2 měsíci +1

    That's a common thread amongst all the origin stories found throughout the world by different people and cultures such as the Sumerian tablets, the Indian texts, the far east Asian stories, Egyptian, etc where the gods or the Anunnaki created the ones called humans today with unrighteous and unjust ways of creating beings and this earth we are currently in which is not the original earth that was first created by the True Creator the One called the God of gods in holy scriptures of the Bible. Which means all humans and this fake earth are bound to be destroyed forever when the Truth is revealed because whatever is founded in lies and deceit shall surely be destroyed by the Truth when the Truth is finally revealed and the lie exposed by the light of the Truth. Only the ones whom were not created as humans and who remain loyal to the Truth unto death will be protected and saved by the Truth from all the attacks of lies that the ones founded in lies were lifting up over the ones standing in the Truth. Who are those? Will you be one of them the chosen ones?
