House Rework: How to first floor and basement! - Rainbow Six Siege

- This is part two of my exploration of all of the changes that came with the House Map rework in Operation Steel Wave for Rainbow Six Siege. In the last video, we looked exclusively at the top floor and today, it is time to head downstairs to the first floor and basement! As before, the theme on the House rework is vertical play. With so many destructible floors, it doesn't matter if you are on attack or defence, you should always try to play from above where possible. Come, let me show you some nice little angles you can get!

Hey rogue there's a guy already leaking season 3 and 4 with elite skins, map rework, ops u name it but I can't remember his name on CZcams (samiratx is his name)
Those are some competitive angles for a casual rework. I don't see myself utilising most of the strats here in a casual game but they're still interesting to be on the lookout for.
IDK what level of competition you play against in casual, but I only play against the sweatiest plats and diamonds in casual lol. Casual is worse than ranked for people tryharding in my experience.
@@annatarlordofgifts9986 I'm assuming you're on console? I play console and I can't stand casual. Not only everyone is super sweaty but it's hella boring too. On PC I found everyone on casual to be completely braindead though
@@GaboG3 Yeah I play on console. I'd probably switch to PC as my main but I just don't have the money to spend right now on an upgrade to my ancient gaming rig. It can technically run Siege but I'm pretty sure it would blow up if I tried out multiplayer lol.

God no new house is bad
Shower is a god-tier chanka turret placement area. If positioned correctly, it can cover depot, half of garage, kitchen stairs, and back stairs. It’s also hidden from the garage wall, so no cheeky shield breaks.

House "feels" the same but when it comes down to how you play this map it's a totally different.

This, I find it hard to decide between the C75 and the SPSMG9
More bullets coming out of the gun = better chance for a headshot and that is the golden rule of siege

Can you do a comparison with all maps(witch one is the biggest?)
There's also a new drone hole on the north wall of the garage. It's high up on the wall and leads out to the front of the house under the porch. Attackers might be able to use it to flush out defenders anchoring behind the new shelves.
West side rappel is too risky, runouts from 1st floor. Maybe add a wall in the way? Or a shed?

Everyone or most ppl loves original house..so my Q. Is.. if house isn’t going to be in Ranked or Unranked why waste time money and effort in reworking it to “make it more competitive” when there’s so many more pressing problems with siege that need fixing desperately!?
Please do other videos like this but on ranked maps

Is this map good enough for Rank ? Like what is the point of reworking this map if its not in the Ranked rotation ?
To make it more interesting for casual players, which are a good chunck of the player base
No way should it be in ranked
Probably not very ranked ready imo.
And the point probably is for the players that actually play the map to have a better experience and make the map last for much much longer time.

I wish that they would have both the reworked and the old map to make everyone happy. They should also do this for the other maps that were reworked, if not for casual at least for custom games

It really annoys me that a lot of the cosmetics have changed. Different coloured walls, changing construction etc. Sure, the layout is the same, but it feels like a different place

I love ya rogue but I just don't see the point of having tactical strata on a casual only map. Casual 99% of the time is dicking about trying weird rush stuff. Personally I'd like to see this with ranked maps. I know you don't play ranked but that's where these sightlines etc would be super useful

Yes, we loved this map as it was, but i have to say, it was too small for ten players.
Varga David-Lajos it made it more chaotic and fun, not wait 2 and 1/2 mins to see action

Rogue 9, maybe you could help us console players out? You probably already know this but mouse and keyboard on console is getting out of hand, so maybe you could raise awareness about this so the siege developers would see that various content creators (I plan on writing this message to other content creators) are speaking about the topic and maybe then they would try to do something about it.
I have 2 possible fixes:
1) Since you can only move in 8 directions on a keyboard, they could try to implement a system that bans players that are walking perfectly in 8 directions. This is the best solution because on a joystick its impossible to perfectly walk in 8 directions, which means that only MnK users would get banned.
2) They could try to implement a system similar to CSGO's ,,Overwatch", basically if a player gets reported enough times, approved players of the community can review the reported gameplay footage and if they suspect MnK or any other form of cheating, they can ban those suspected players. This is the worse fix out of the 2, because false bans could happen.
I am trying to spread the message so the console community would become better, because as of right now, the main issue that's making players quit the game is MnK.
Xbox and Sony handle mnk on console.

Man, i'm never getting over how shitty this map feels now. Baffling unbreachables, annoyingly placed windows, removed entry points, almost nonexistent long lines of sight...
What the hell was the point of this rework?

I hate the house rework.. Too many stupid angles, corners, windows, clutter etc.. Old house was better, but was still a mediocre map
I don't know why they decided to add clutter when on the other reworks they took away the clutter 🤷♂️

Varga David-Lajos but the question to Ubisoft is why? Why would they spend time and effort remaking a map that nobody asked for? The rework strips house of everything that made it fun and unique.
I didn't say that I like the rework.
I just wanted convince you that it isn't as bad as you think.
Maybe Ubisoft will listen to its fans and will make the old version of our beloved map playable at least in custom matches.
