My Dad was born in India, but moved to SA when he was very young. His brothers stayed in India, but then moved to America later in life to start families of their own. Consequently, I have first cousins who look very similar to myself and my siblings, but they're proper American. We try to teach them SA slang...and no prizes for which words we start with :)
