So DM with leg mod or Annapolis? Credits aren't an issue.

DM was my first t10, Salem was almost my last T10 (of the coal ships). Salem is a good ship, but having to choose between radar and hydro, and the short range of the radar, are significant issues (for me). If the Salem's superheal healed more cit dmg, it might be better than the DM, but as is, DM is superior (IMO). Good vid.

The Salem was my first coal ship. I was attracted to the heal and the good guns. I was satisfied with it and thought I didn't need to worry about grinding the US cruiser line for the DM since I have the Salem. Over time I kept hearing about the comparisons between these ships and the consensus was that the DM is the preferred ship my most of the better players. It took about 2 years but I finally decided to grind for her and then I noticed that I have better (more consistent) games with DM. I think that I play more cautiously because I'm not relying on my heal to bail me out. The other issue is that the the super heal is really only beneficial for the first two heals... after that it is less effective, thus mitigating it's benefits. If you're taking cits, then it really doesn't matter much anyway.

Kind of same thing with me, I watched what people said and decided to grind DM instead of buying Salem. Took me time to make the decision but I knew I wanted one of them and figured I really didn't need two. I liked the idea of being able to skip the line and basically in a way just buy the T10. However I decided having both radar and hydro was more valuable than the super heal and losing a utility.

Almost the same issue with Baltimore and Wichita. different radar ranges, AP damage difference and detection.
