its my fav atm working on getting druid next, but if u get caught u will die low hp for tier no heals no amour slow top speed and high stopping time. its very easy to die in 2-3 salvos. makes it a bit of a glass cannon

The whole point to the shimakaze is the stealth, true, but EVERYTHING in the game is designed to nullify the shima. Every new DD is an anti-dd-dd, radar is on everything including numerous DDs, hydro detects ships (which it shouldn't), and hydro runs for like 7 years everytime you press it. I used hydro once 5 years ago, and I think it is still running today. CVs are completely anti-shima, subs are very anti-stealth-DD. There really isn't any functionality or feature in this game that ISN'T anti-shima.

I blacklist every sub grub... just bad players that can't shoot to save themselves and are yet to put the time in as some have to learn to play. The only time I see a blacklisted is if they're paired with a non blacklisted. So I do seem to get hardly any sub grub games... although sometimes ques are longer with 16 subs qued the other day... wtf so many bads coming for easy WarmoneyGrub mechanics for kills.

I'm excited for this coming clan season with the current bans, feels like early clan battles, hoping to see some unusual comps to more recent clan battles.

Anything that flies should be banned, with the only exception being a spotter plane being used for range only on a ship.

They should play these intro's at the start of the match, for the ship you are playing. So cool!!

Once again.. why play this if you can farm ships with Lushun but just better? It has better DPM, same gun arcs and in start of the match you can play it as normal DD with great concealment, superheal, 5.5km hydro and usable torps. Later after killing DD you can farm what you want from range. Only dowside is speed and no 50mm khaba armor plate and thats all...Khaba is just relic from the past...

It's been a long time since I played Khaba. This morning I modified the commander's skills using your build as a guide but having to adapt it to the fact that my commander currently has only 18 points available and I have the legendary module mounted. I just finished the first game: 4 kills, 9 fires, 1 cap captured and just under 120k damage. Not bad after so long of not using it.😀

Its best DD buster if you are with 3 man div together with radar and some CV. Thats why lot of people think how great it is. But if you are playing solo its just so bad. Shit spot, no smoke means you cant go closer to enemy DDs and if you did and shot they will just smoke up and farm you ass. And if you dont go close you cant do shit, cos of your shitty gun arcs. If I want to be close to DDs I would pick Smaland/Daring if I wanna farm ships than Kleber/Lushun/Delny whatever. Lushun can farm ships easy, can also hydro and kill dds on closer ranges...why the hell I would play Marceau over Luhsun? :D

I'm always learning something from your videos, Ripper. For a long time I've always just taken the Battle Expert mod for ship angle and direction info. Today I learned that I should also use the Speed Info mod along with to maximize the info I can get on the opfor. Thanks and hope to see you in this coming CB season.

As a proud member of the DD Mafia, I agree that they are very important. I would argue that from T8 on up, the critical ships (at least in the early part of games) are the radar cruisers. They allow me in a dd to fulfill my missions.
