Travis are a Scottish rock band formed in Glasgow in 1990, composed of Fran Healy (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Dougie Payne (bass guitar, backing vocals), Andy Dunlop (lead guitar, banjo, backing vocals) and Neil Primrose (drums, percussion). The band's name comes from the character Travis Henderson (played by Harry Dean Stanton) from the film Paris, Texas (1984).

Omg I’ve literally been looking for this song for 12 years! 🥺Heard it back in 08 in a clothing store and it touched me and stayed with me. I kept looking in intervals all these years but no result. Lembra do meu primeiro colégio, que fechou justamente na metade daquele ano, eu tava no 7° ano, e praticamente com o todo o pessoal que estudava comigo desde a primeira série, marcou muito, a letra é como um consolo pra aquela despedida, a nossa turma era unida. Apesar de 95% ter estudado comigo em outro colégio na outra metade daquele ano, não era a mesma coisa, fizemos novos amigos, foi legal, mas ainda sim, sentimos saudades daquele tempo. Hoje temos contato ainda, apesar de não ser a mesma coisa, fico grato pelo tempo que passei com meus amigos e vivi aquilo tudo. ♥️♥️

I only started listening to Travis a few years ago when I was 12 because they are a band my parents always used to listen to. They are now my favourite band and they have gotten me through a lot of things. I really wish I was alive when all these good songs came out...
