Tommy Boyle was one of footballs greatest players. As the captain of Burnley FC from 1911 to 1923 he won both FA Cup in 1914 and the League Championship in 1921, played for England and the Football League in a career from 1907 to 1924. But after his career was over, Tommy Boyle struggled with a life out of the game and spent the end of his life in Whittingham, England largest mental institution. This is the story of a football legend.
