Two things I remember about Bob Lord. When they got John Bond to manage the team , Bond said there was no pressure on him he was quite content to stay in Div 4 and pick up his wages. Within days he was sacked. He also had the foresight to know that the way football was going Burnley might one day get to the top div again but they would never win the league again. Hope Vinnie proves him wrong.
Very interesting, just my era. Imagine my surprise on seeing myself at Wembley in 1962 - 4 mins 11 secs to be precise, on the right, I'd no idea of the existence of the film.
